JOB SUMMARY

Join the Cresco Labs team as a Wellness Advisor. As a Wellness Advisor, your main responsibility will be to assist patients in selecting the proper cannabis products for their needs and are the go to product expert on duty at the store. Wellness Advisor engage in one-on-one conversations with guests from the time they walk into the store until they check out. Compliance with applicable rules and regulations as implemented by the state and Cresco Labs will be required.

The ideal Wellness Advisor should be friendly and positive, much like the barista who provides you your favorite coffee. We hope our patients are drawn to our Wellness Advisors and the dispensary because of our service, our products as well as your approachable and knowledgeable demeanor.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Help patients make the right choices by knowing how the different methods of cannabis affect patients differently

• Suggesting dosage starting points for new patients

• Correct cash handling

• Verification of proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients

• Accurate use of the Point of Sale (POS) system; timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system

• Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)

• Assist in verifying the accuracy of orders when being delivered

• Ensure security measures and safety compliance for the store

• Maintain an organized and clean store

• Manage the visitor log

• Reporting of employee issues or patient situations

• Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including: daily activities, maintenance, and patient information for any reported issues and/or complaints

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1 - 5 years' experience in customer service

• High Energy, Patient Focused, Compassionate

• Retail experience mandatory

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body

• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email

• Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public

• Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years' old or older to work at the store

• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

complete production.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Well researched in new techniques and insight and dedicated to expand knowledge</li><li>Will work closely with other managers and directors in order to execute the company's overall cultivation strategy</li><li>Develop a comprehensive hiring plan then participate with managers to hire, train, and supervise staff (includes scheduling, supervision, training, and annual performance reviews)</li><li>Create and manage schedules, cultivation processes, inventory, and vendor relations</li><li>Coordinate with ownership, wholesale, extraction, and cultivation management interests, with regard to production scheduling</li><li>Create implement Standard Operating Procedures for cultivation, maintenance, and grounds</li><li>Ensure that the cultivation center adheres to all state regulatory compliance standards and maintains proper documentation</li><li>Understand compliance with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure</li><li>Establish systems and chain of command to collect, analyze, and maintain data on cultivation operations to aid strategic planning and operational decisions</li><li>Serve as a role model and resource for staff with regards to products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations</li><li>Respond to questions, concerns, or suggestions and take action to resolve conflicts</li><li>Maintain accurate records of all cultivation activities, including employee records, inventory records, and crop application records</li><li>Upkeep working knowledge of traceability programs</li><li>Consistently report cultivation status, verbally and in written form to all executive leadership/ownership</li><li>Conduct weekly meetings to communicate status and directives</li><li>Test/Sample/Trial equipment to ensure subject matter expertise for future facility and equipment purchases</li><li>Create a complete facility compliance plan, with periodic internal audits, to ensure state and environmental safety regulations are met</li><li>Frequent travel for facility inspections, media events, and other meetings as needed</li></ul><p></p><p>CULTIVATION OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT</p><ul><li>Ensure optimal plant health while maximizing yields by maintaining proper pruning, plant training, and trimming processes and procedures</li><li>Delegate tasks to cultivation agents in order to maintain an efficient, compliant, and clean cultivation facility</li><li>Ensure all the tasks are performed in the operation, including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, trellising, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, waste disposal and inventory management</li><li>Develop and execute preventative, naturally-integrated pest/disease control, maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc. with STRICT adherence to all state compliance and environmental safety regulation</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized cultivation center with proper inventory of all cultivation supplies</li><li>Oversee the creation and implementation of all cultivation operations, plans, policies, and procedures (SOP) regarding propagation, plant care, IPM, health and safety operations, harvest, and post-harvest</li><li>Create and implement best practices for plant health and care - paying close attention to different cultivars' specific needs</li><li>Select, appoint, and train staff on the operation of the cultivation facility's automated tools, such as grow room temperature controls, lighting, watering systems and other infrastructure</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in plant biology, physiology, biological sciences, or agricultural sciences, horticulture or agriculture management</li><li>Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options</li><li>At least 5 years commercial grow experience</li><li>Knowledge of large-scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, airflow, etc.</li><li>Experience managing a large-scale cultivation operation that has a clean history of compliance</li><li>In-depth working knowledge of cannabis plant symptom diagnosis, causality and remedy applications</li><li>Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of a grow warehouse</li><li>Advanced knowledge of hemp or cannabis plants and genetics</li><li>OSHA certified in Safety Training preferred</li><li>Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail</li><li>Demonstrated personnel management experience</li><li>Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills</li><li>Experience in a position requiring critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning and assessment</li><li>Computer literacy in word processing, point-of-sale systems, and database management</li><li>Knowledge of cannabis policy and law</li><li>Thorough understanding of California and local medical/recreational cannabis laws and how they</li><li>apply to the operations</li><li>Proficient in MS Office, Highly Proficient in MS Excel</li><li>Detail-oriented with a willingness to thoroughly execute established cultivation SOPs</li><li>Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency</li></ul><p></p><p>For additional information on this opportunity, contact <b>Bill Danton</b> directly at <b><span><a href=\"tel:+1-605-679-9918\">605-679-9918</a></span></b>.
