What you will do

We are seeking a energetic and experienced Production Technician to join our growing dynamic team! In this role The Production Technician is responsible for the production, secondary packaging, and labeling of cannabis-based medicines.

Highlighted Responsibilities

  • Assist with bucking and de-stemming harvests.
  • Maintain quality of raw cannabis after harvests.
  • Trim and sort flower for sale, and process into final packaged cannabis products.
  • Production of cannabis pre-rolls.
  • Assemble secondary packaging and package raw cannabis products.
  • Print and apply labels to various types of finish packaged products.
  • Carry out quality control checks on finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment including cleaning labware and workstations.
  • Manage parallel workflows.
  • Keeps a detailed log, dating and recording all tasks performed and relevant.
  • Comfortable performing in a goal driven work environment.
  • Interacts with electronic record keeping.
  • Perform other functions as necessary to provide an adequate supply of product to meet patient demands.
  • Provide feedback to improve process quality.
  • Some machine maintenance will be required.
  • Other duties assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21+ years of age and pass a criminal background check
  • Some experience in a regulated environment.
  • Understand how to use measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, and balances.
  • Requires manual dexterity, bending and lifting
  • Comfortable using MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable to change in the work environment

The job is performed indoors and outdoors. Exposure to chemicals and laboratory agents is typical and outdoor heat expected. Protective safety clothing, goggles, gloves, facemasks, or hat are required depending on areas of work. Activities include extended periods of sitting or standing.

Pay: $15.70 per hour

The ideal individual will be located in or near Hope, BC and will work 50% out of the Hope facility and 50% remotely.</p><p>Position Overview</p><p>The Human Resources Generalist reports to the Director of People and Culture and is a key member of the VIVO People Team. This individual is responsible for coordinating and completing all day-to-day administrative Human Resources functions in their area of responsibility, payroll included. Support and coach management in attending to employee related matters as needed.
