The Opportunity

The Medical Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating medical cannabis education and awareness with various patient and community support groups in Canada. The successful candidate is a self-starter, experienced in assessing and performing outreach to a range of stakeholders, coordinating and delivering presentations and managing performance metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Support the strategic development and execution of a patient/community engagement plan aligned with commercial goals
  • Perform research, outreach and respond to various patient and community support groups, outlining Spectrum’s education and support value proposition
  • Triage and coordinate presentations with our cross functional team of engagement specialists
  • Deliver medical cannabis presentations to external patient and community support groups, including coordinating materials, table or booth responsibilities
  • Coordinate with brand, medical, legal and recreational teams to drive patient insights and help optimize the patient/community engagement plan and internal processes
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in community engagement or a similar educational outreach role
  • A degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated tactical proficiency in developing community engagement plans including market/targeting assessment, execution, scheduling, ongoing tracking and reporting on results
  • Engaging, outgoing, motivational, persuasive, compassionate and flexible
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Able to perform well in a fast past and changing environment, operating as a self-starter but also a great team player
  • Working knowledge of cannabis and the cannabis industry
  • Valid driver’s license
