Our client is looking for an individual with the background and experience to become part of the team as a Project Leader for a 4-9 month contract overseeing the new plant construction .

The ideal Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction schedule of the new facility in Collingwood, Ontario, managing equipment vendors, deliverable timelines, and payment schedules.

The successful candidate will be working closely with key construction stakeholders (general contractor, architect, engineers,equipment vendors) to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are
on track.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.

This position would be a 4-9-month contract, and would be needed to monitor and manage the development and construction of our Collingwood facility.

Expectations and Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Coordinating with all level team members to make sure that all parties are on track
with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant
information.
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on
schedule and budget.
