Job purpose

The Area Development Manager is responsible for growing sales through dispensaries/rec retailers that are carrying our products as well as directing production and distribution for The Clear™ products in Arizona.

The position fulfills a key leadership role within LCA to ensure profitability and revenue growth as well as quality assurance and compliance.

Duties and responsibilities

Brand Building – increase sales of The Clear products among dispensaries/rec retailers through education, promotions, events and awareness campaigns in support of and in coordination with sales leadership and sales team.

Educate budtenders and other staff members at dispensary/rec retailers on The Clear products, history, features and benefits, and sales techniques.

Coordinate store pop-ups and other brand events to help increase sales.

In cooperation with sales leadership and sales team, plan and coordinate discounts and other promotional events to help increase sales.

Develop relationships with buyers and store management to promote brand credibility, customer service and sales.

Represent The Clear at local industry functions.

In coordination with LCAZ and CCI leadership, monitor regulatory changes in AZ (considered, planned and enacted) to ensure regulations are as fair and favorable to The Clear products as possible and to ensure we're fully compliant.

In coordination with LCAZ and CCI leadership and marketing staff, develop marketing materials to help grow sales in the State and to ensure that all marketing and promotional activities are fully compliant.

Compile data on competitive products including price comps and communicate to the CCI contract agency sales leadership.

Production and Distribution Management – manage “The Clear” family of products, over seeing the manufacturing and distribution to ensure accuracy, timeliness, quality, and to maximize margins.

In collaboration with LCAZ and CCI leadership, set manufacturing levels including quantities by SKU.

Place hardware and packaging orders with “The Clear” licensor Clear Cannabis Inc.

Place orders with compliant Arizona contract manufacturer(s).

Oversee oil grading and manufacturing quality control at the contract manufacturer level.

Work with the manufacturer to ensure testing is as cost-efficient as possible.

Facilitate payments to manufacturer.

Oversee clear and timely communication between manufacturer and distributor.

Monitor deliveries from distributor to dispensaries/retailers to ensure they're accurate and timely.

Work with distributor to ensure deliveries are as efficient as possible.

In coordination with LCAZ leadership, regularly evaluate manufacturers and distributors to ensure The Clear is getting the best prices and quality through vendor research, screening and negotiation.

Work with the Clear Cannabis Inc hardware, packaging, terpene and label procurement team to ensure all elements of our AZ product packaging are fully compliant.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in business, marketing or related field.

2+ years' sales experience in the cannabis Industry, preferably with sales management experience.

An understanding of the manufacturing, distribution and retail cannabis market in Arizona.

Experience In conducting training.

Experience promoting brands.

Ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with all levels of employees, management, and external customers to maximize performance and results.

Superior attention to accuracy and detail.

Expert time-management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills

Ability to quickly adapt to an often-changing and rapid-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time.

Primary Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with internal policies, controls, rules and regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles Works closely with local controllers and Regional controller to ensure close schedule deadlines are met Works on projects that cross multiple states, as assigned Prepares journal entries to numerous registers, journals and logs Reviews of journal entries from multiple States within the ERP Prepares balance sheet reconciliations as assigned, on a monthly basis Reviews staff accountant’s balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned, on a monthly basis Analyzes financial balances, summary reports, trial balances and other financial data Provides detailed analysis and explanations on a monthly basis as part of the financial statement review Ensures teams are adhering to established policies and SOX Controls Follows our company’s established accounting processes Education and Work Experience: Bachelors or higher degree in accounting or finance required CPA preferred 5 more years of accounting or finance experience Management experience of at least 3 staff members Experience with balance sheet reconciliation required Dynamics 365 experience preferred Experience managing inter-company transactions and cost allocations Knowledge of (GAAP) generally accepted accounting principles Strong ability to use MS Office packages, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong ability to communicate in writing and speaking, as well as good organizational skills Detailed oriented with excellent ability to analyze data Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines Good at working independently, thinking critically and proffering quality ideas to improving organization’s processes Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions Understands business implications of decisions and aligns work with strategic goals Experience working for a Publicly traded company preferred Curaleaf is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p></div>","company":{"website":"grassrootscannabis.com","companyType":"Private/Established","name":"Grassroots Cannabis","logoUrl":"/logos/grassroots-cannabis-cb46e22f9c2419bafd9e614f65cdf7ae.png"},"location":{"country":"United States","address":"Texas, USA","stateProvince":"TX"},"frontendLink":"/job-posting/grassroots-cannabis/senior-accounting-manager/517a7e86ddba4606bd64fea84624f396","title":"Senior Accounting Manager","category":"Agriculture & Farming","hash":"517a7e86ddba4606bd64fea84624f396","postingUrl":"https://us.fidanto.com/jobs/job-opening/accountants/senior-accounting-manager-570718281"}]
