Key Responsibilities include:

Team Development (50%)

  • Promotes a positive and professional work environment during periods of high volume and to set an example for the rest of the team
  • Drives customer service excellence in every aspect of the store, including merchandising, store layout, and guest interactions
  • Coordinates staff training and development by reinforcing successful performance expectations and providing constructive feedback and coaching
  • Develops and revises staff training materials
  • Organizes and leads weekly and monthly staff meetings
  • Organizes and executes formal and informal staff evaluations and communicates outcomes to Hashtag’s leadership team

Store Operations (30%)

  • Tracks all cash management and prepares weekly cash deposits
  • Schedules and organizes floor staff, weekly sales tasks, and store promotions
  • Gathers and reports store operations information and employee performance to Hashtag’s leadership team
  • Communicates and reinforces federal and state health, safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Reliably able to transport supplies between Wallingford (HQ) and our Seattle location

Staff Management (20%)

  • Tracks and ensures staff operations comply with local and state laws
  • Verifies and approves staff timesheets and communicates payroll-related requests to Hashtag’s leadership team
  • Available to respond to urgent staff issues in real time
