We are seeking an IT Applications Manager who will provide analytic support to Business Development, Origination/Applications, and other business units. The IT Applications Manager will lead new implementation projects, supplement project management activities, solve relevant business and technical problems, and build and lead a new IT team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop, plan, implement, and support Financial Systems such as Purchasing, AP, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, Oracle, etc)
  • Determines scope of the project, deliverables, and timelines
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress for system implementation and ongoing support
  • Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future systems and requirements to meet organizational needs
  • Leads the design, development and implementation of new organizational processes aligned with our Financial Systems including development, configuration, and support
  • Support the Finance team in all aspects of projects including general project organization, day-to-day project management, and stakeholder communications
  • Responsible for the aggregation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data as needed
  • Conducts analysis, market research, and general research as required
  • Prepare business cases, reports, presentations, and other relevant materials such as research, analysis, troubleshooting, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders and management
  • Identify and implement technical and innovative solutions to accomplish team and company objectives
  • Analyze projects and develop an effective strategy for completion
  • Complete projects on time, on target, and on budget
  • Recommend changes and improvements based on research or data findings

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a relevant business or technical field, Masters Preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience implementing new systems and replacing legacy systems
  • Prior experience with financial AI and RPA systems is a plus
  • Collaborative, driven leader, willing to roll up your sleeves and get it done
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to master and implement new software and technologies
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to learn and implement new AI systems as appropriate
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and able to work in a high paced, timeline-driven setting
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to continually demonstrate poise, tact, and diplomacy are necessary

Your job is to demonstrate how the Cova product and our partners tools work together to solve the challenges cannabis retailers face and help them succeed.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p>• Building and driving relationships with key partners in the United States and Canada.</p><p>• Creating strong positioning for Covas partner ecosystem that feeds into the overall brand story, pitch opportunities, and customer value proposition.</p><p>• Understanding the overall partner strategy and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.</p><p>• Creating a strategy around which partners or categories Marketing / Inside Sales should help drive.</p><p>• Determining targets based on needs/problem set and creating multi-product/solution approaches.</p><p><b>• Developing and executingpartner marketing programsto drive leads, including:</b></p><p>• Define value prop and messages- how their products solve retailers problems.</p><p>• Create pricing strategies and develop bundle pricing.</p><p>• Work with partners to create content &amp; sales collateral to support SEM efforts and campaigns.</p><p>• Work with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns including email, social media, landing pages, and advertising.</p><p>• Create and maintain tools to attract and close deals including presentations, marketing collateral and content, proposals, and scripts.</p><p>• Updating the marketing team on partner forecasts, trends and new partners.</p><p>• Measuring effectiveness of partner marketing program by reporting on leads, adoption/usage rates, and/or sales pipeline progress for client opportunities.</p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p>• University Graduate, ideally in a Marketing discipline.</p><p>• 5+ years of relevant experience.</p><p>• Must be a solid writer, strong communicator, and comfortable speaking in front of large, senior groups.</p><p>• Innovative and dynamic, this person will be a problem solver and a solution maker.</p><p>• Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.</p><p>• Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.</p><p>• Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.</p><p>• Can travel as required.</p><p>• Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce.</p><p>• Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, and Google Analytics.</p><p>• Power-user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.</p><p><b>30-Day Goal:</b></p><p>• Understand our product and partner strategies</p><p>• Collaborate withthe marketing team and our partners to create a joint positioning and launch their landing pages.</p><p><b>60-Day Goal:</b></p><p>• Develop our new partner program tiers</p><p>• Work with VP of marketing to develop a pricing strategy and launch bundle pricing for Cova + our partners</p><p>• Develop GTM strategy and joint marketing campaign with key partners in key markets</p><p>• Coordinate with partners to create at least 2 blogs</p><p><b>What Really Matters:</b></p><p>A lot can be learned or trained, but there are a few things that cant.</p><p>• Strongly self-motivated with a drive to succeed</p><p>• Caring about our clients and their customers</p><p>• Being able to collaborate with others to ensure that we all succeed together</p><p>Want to Join the Team?</p><p>If youre interested in a career withCova and are committed to striving for success, please submit your resume and cover letter.
