ROLE SUMMARY

As a Certified Pharmacist or Nurse Practitioner in our dispensary, you will be responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with patients. You will spend time with the patient and listen to their needs and concerns and make appropriate recommendations about medicine. You must be able to explain the effects of various medicines and products and explain how each one can reduce a patient's symptoms for different ailments. You are expected to stay current and knowledgeable about the medicine offered by Trulieve and in the industry.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas
  • Maintains confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
  • Provides comprehensive patient care to customers
  • Provides medical marijuana pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing orders, counseling patients regarding health care and medical marijuana needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation, and properly processing all patient certification transactions and recommendations per regulations.
  • Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints
  • Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
  • Verifies patient's allotment and ensures they are eligible to make purchasing using the state system
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and goals
  • Adheres to all Pennsylvania Department of Health/ Office of Medical Marijuana regulations
  • Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork
  • Participates in ongoing education and professional development opportunities, including all state mandated training and professional license continuing education requirements
  • Works collectively and respectfully with other team members
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
  • Maintaining accurate inventory on hand.
  • Updating the website and communicating inventory changes to staff members.
  • Answering phone calls.
