Reports to: Trim Crew Supervisors and Cultivation Manager

Job Purpose

Trim Crew- Role and responsibilities are to assist the Trim Crew Supervisor and Cultivation Manager with meeting daily requirements of dry flower trim of 1.5-2lbs with an 800-gram minimum. Trim Crew Members may be required to do one or all tasks listed below depending on the skill level of the employee. This is for a long-term trimming position. Trimmers must be able to assure the highest possible quality of product & appearance. In this role you will work to efficiently trim dry cannabis plants/breakdown of whole plants, while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready to be processed. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining and following strict cultivation procedures. Essential job functions and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Trim 1.5 lbs to 2 lbs of flower in an 8-hour shift
  • Must be able to meet the minimum standard of 800 grams per day, this requirement must be met on a weekly average
  • Removing visible stems with clean cuts of the bud
  • Must follow strict trim room protocols
  • Must follow cleaning processes for end of day, including wiping down tables, sweeping your area, putting tools away to designated areas, picking up trash, and maintaining a tidy work space
  • Must wear proper protective gear such as hair nets, gloves, scrubs, and beard guards if necessary
  • Follow strict biosecurity protocols and minimum job qualifications
  • Detail oriented and excellent communication skills
  • Able to handle fast repetitive hand movements
  • Schedule Flexibility

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license and transportation
  • Pass LiveScan screening with Desert Hot Springs
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, contribute to high functioning teams, and be dependable, motivated and driven.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
  • Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions exposure to pollen and allergens
