JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and driven Retail Manager to join our cannabis store. The Store Manager will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for customers while driving sales, monitoring inventory, and managing a team of budtenders and keyholders. An in-depth understanding of AGCO store guidelines, reporting requirements OCS ordering process will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full operations of a single retail location
  • Encourage and onboard new cannabis sales associates and develop positive working environment and train them on how to properly educate customers in a compliant manner
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to produce business results across the board
  • Develop key performance indicators for various functions and tasks throughout the store and implement sales targets and produce top-performing sales
  • Maintain clean and organized working environment that adheres to company standards and brand messaging
  • Conduct weekly inventory and reporting, assist with audits and monitor market trends
  • Train staff on inventory management as well as cash handling procedures and rules and operation of the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Implement store guidelines and company policies and ensure staff adhere to best practices such as loss prevention, security policies, discounts, returns etc.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews regularly and maintain employee records
  • Ensure safety and satisfaction of all customers and staff
  • Liaise with law enforcement, AGCO Inspectors, landlords and local community as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Store Manager or General Manager of a high-volume retail or restaurant operation
  • CannSell Standard certified (Required)
  • Retail Manager Licence Holder (Preferred)
  • Experience Utilizing POS and Inventory Management System
  • Previous cannabis retail store management experience an asset
  • Experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work in and adapt to a highly regulated industry
  • Flexible schedule; able to work evenings, weekends and statutory holiday

Most of the trusted brands you’re washing up with are made with detergents, chemicals and tallow, which is just another name for cow fat (umm… gross). Sulfates, artificial detergents and parabens can cause irritation, trigger allergies and have other unpleasant side effects.</p><p>That doesn’t exactly say “refreshing shower” to us.
