• The Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging plant material and infused products.

• In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labelling, and inventory is paramount.

• The Packaging Associate is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of medical products

• This person will also have some responsibility for tracking products electronically on the company's software system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations.

• Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations

• Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software

• Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product

• Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day

• Assist with the production line

• Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies

• Fill and package products for delivery

• $18 - $18 USD per hour

• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique

• Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by Green Thumb and the state while processing patient medicine

• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers

• Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-hour work periods without losing quality

• Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative

• Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings

Adastra Labs operates under GMP standards and in accordance with Health Canada Good Production Practices (GPP), as defined in the Cannabis Regulations.</p><p>Reporting to Production Technicians, the Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all filling, packaging and processing activities. This will be a rotating role between production extraction and product manufacturing.</p><p>This role will be accountable for conducting production tasks in a safe, efficient manner to ensure the production schedule stays on track.</p><p>Key success factors for this position will include attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to drive efficiency and change without compromising on teamwork and product quality.</p><p>Major Responsibilities</p><p>· Operating production equipment for cannabis processing per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</p><p>· Performing various production sanitation activities in conformance with Sanitation Plan, SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPP)</p><p>· Performing maintenance and calibration of equipment as per schedules</p><p>· Maintain production records in accordance with SOPs</p><p>· Monitor temperature or pressure gauges, indicators, or meters to ensure required process conditions</p><p>· Maintaining strict inventory records of raw materials, chemicals and equipment</p><p>· Handling pressurized gas/liquid cylinder and solvent drums and containers</p><p>· Assist in ensuring the effective execution of extraction tasks in compliance with Health Canada regulations, Work Safe BC regulations, SOPs and all applicable procedures</p><p>· Ensuring compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures</p><p>· Following appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of dissimilar production components while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)</p><p>· Following appropriate control measures to prevent product loss while following Good Production Practices (GPP)</p><p>· Performing in-process and post-process quality assurance sampling and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed Adastra Lab’s specifications and client expectations</p><p>· Working closely with QA to ensure adherence to QA requirements</p><p>· Potential for ad hoc projects</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>· High school diploma (required)</p><p>· Must have the ability to obtain and pass a RCMP Criminal Record Check and maintain security clearance (required)</p><p>· Experience as an operator for high-pressure systems, or in complex process industries (e.g. oil &amp;
