Job Description Transport Agents form the backbone of Eagle Eyes Transport. The Agent is responsible for delivering cannabis products to and from customers, labs, and production facilities within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this position, the Agent will be responsible for transport and delivery of products using a company vehicle. This may include, but is not limited to: Transporting cannabis and/or cannabis related product to and from licensed cannabis establishments; delivering product from dispensaries to consumers; any other logistics tasks in furtherance of our transport services. Transport Agents must have excellent customer service skills, excellent driving skills, and must be able to work as part of a small team while making deliveries and completing light administrative duties as assigned. Additionally, the Transport Agent works with the customer to ensure that all deliveries are accurate and compliant as defined by EET operating procedures, The Cannabis Control Commission, and the State of Massachusetts. Essential job functions Operate company-provided transport vehicle in accordance with company safety policies and procedures and in compliance with all Massachusetts state regulations. Physically load and unload product from the transport vehicle. Storing, inventorying, and transferring products to and from the warehouse and secure vaults. Pick up and deliver customer orders to and from various destinations including but not limited to dispensaries, labs, and residences, within established time frames. Agents must always maintain compliance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations. Responsibilities Must comply with all Eagle Eyes Transport safety measures and procedures. Fulfill all deliveries and services punctually and professionally. Obey all traffic laws and operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. It is mandatory for the transport agent to be comfortable with basic modern technology and have a working Mobile smartphone in order to use our delivery application. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher regarding current orders and potential issues with orders. Complete all administrative tasks required during transport to ensure compliance with all cannabis Control Commission regulations and State of Massachusetts laws. Complete all Eagle Eyes Transport internal on boarding and training requirements as well as completing vendor responsible training and any other tasks required by the Cannabis Control Commission. Experience Experienced and comfortable interfacing with customers and/or the public. 1-2 years professional delivery Driving Experience a plus. Knowledge of, or experience working in the Cannabis industry, cannabis strains, cultivation, and medicinal effects, a plus. Qualifications/Requirements Early (5-6 am) start times typical; must be available for full and extended days even if part-time hours. Must possess a valid MA driver's license in good standing, with a driving record clear of repeat violations, at-fault accidents or moving violations during the past six (6) years. Must have had a license in a US state for at least 6 years. Must be a minimum of 25 years of age. Must pass internal and CCC background checks High school degree equivalent English language skills (spoken and written) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to maintain a flexible working schedule and adjust on the go if hours are extended during a shift. Skills and Attributes Strong interpersonal skills. Reporting to the Extraction Manager, the Extraction Technician will conduct the day to day operations of extraction and refining cannabis extracts while working closely with QA to ensure compliance with stringent regulations. Tasks will include prepping material for terpene capture and post-processing, extraction, decarboxylation, filtration, distillation, preventative maintenance, machine operation, documenting, and cleaning. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and able to work as part of a team and at a fast pace.</div><br /><div></div><div><p>Essential Functions</p><ul><li>Processes cannabis bud and trim into purified cannabis products through solventless and solvent extraction recovery, purification, distillation, refinement, and isolation.</li><li>Identifies and understands theoretical and conceptual knowledge related to cannabinoid extraction processes and takes process optimization measures to improve daily output.</li><li>Understands the operational principles of all pressurized systems that are related extraction of cannabinoids from cannabis trim and bud.</li><li>Review and complete documentation related to extraction such as SOPs, WIs, PCP and DQRA.</li><li>Ensure all SOPs, WIs are followed and high sense of adherence to GPP and GDP.</li><li>Coordinate extraction activities in timely manner and work closely with QA to ensure extraction is performed per cGMP standards.</li><li>Update extraction inventory logs such as data inventory, product and supply inventory and chemical inventory.</li><li>Completes daily housekeeping tasks in each processing room and common space ensures proper disposal of all waste and hazardous chemical waste.</li><li>Daily handling of pressurized machinery and equipment such as gas and liquid cylinders. Lead safety culture through a demonstrated commitment to OHS and membership on the joint occupational health &amp; safety committee.</li><li>Monitoring and extraction process and machinery daily and reporting throughput and assisting in machine maintenance.</li><li>Assist in training new staff and help in final packaging of extracted and value-added products.</li><li>Write weekly processing and production reports.</li></ul><p>Other Duties</p><ul><li>We work in a fast pace environment, rolling up our sleeves to build something bigger than ourselves. Other duties may arise from time to time/most of the time and as a team, we look to support each other.</li></ul><p>Your Brand, Your Story</p><ul><li>2+ years of extraction laboratory experience or equivalent.</li><li>Bachelor of Science education in Biochemistry, Chemisry, Biology, Engineering, and any science related field is an asset.</li><li>Knowledgeable in phytochemical extraction.</li><li>Strong verbal and analytical skills with accuracy in relation to data.</li><li>Knowledge in operation of supercritical CO2 machinery and solvent recovery systems will be an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of HPLC, GC-MS and other chromatographic techniques for cannabinoid analysis and data interpretation will be an asset.</li><li>Ability to interact with all levels of the company and remaining up to date with current legislation related to the cannabis act.</li><li>Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and be capable of managing and using ERP software for production transactions.</li><li>Ability to establish priorities, work quickly, accurately, and independently with minimal supervision; demonstrates self-motivation and initiative.</li><li>Effective time management skills with an ability to multi-task efficiently.</li><li>Strong teamwork skills work well as a team member in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>The willingness to maintain an open mind and learn new techniques.</li><li>Must have the ability to maintain and pass an RCMP criminal record check, and obtain security clearance.</li></ul></div><p>Additional</p><div>At Pure Sunfarms, we are growing our team with the same care we devote to growing our plants.
