The Retail Inventory & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the inventory operations of the Retail Dispensary. Providing leadership, guidance and support to their Inventory team members and fosters an environment that is positive, upbeat, and respectful. Inventory & Compliance

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Intake SNI and 3rd party medicated and non-medicated items by following state and SNI SOPs. This will entail adding items, editing, and updating the product master as needed.

• Work closely with the Milford inventory team to provide feedback on edits that need to be made and ensure retail inventory is received to SNI and state guidance. This may entail relabeling of product, updating barcodes, and repackaging items when necessary.

• Understand and follow all regulations put forth by the CCC regarding inventory to maintain a 100% accurate inventory for all medicated product and non-medicated product.

• Ensure the dispensary has an up-to-date binder system in place and all counts and documentation are complete and compliant with CCC regulations.

• Oversee that all Blue Bin returns to Milford are processed accurately. Collaborate with the Inventory Team to identify areas of opportunity for retraining on the Blue Bin and manifest process and work with Dispensary GM to provide training to dispensary staff.

• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency. This may include specially reconfiguring the operational layout of the vault and daily room spaces to accommodate product needs.

• Participate in staff meetings to continue to train and develop dispensary staff on CCC regulations, SNI policy, and processes pertaining to inventory controls.

• Update and maintain retail inventory SOP’s as policies and regulation changes.

• Work closely with the Dispensary GM to develop processes, policies, and retail inventory SOPs for adult use inventory control to maintain an accurate inventory and comply with all adult use regulations put forth by the CCC

• Follow all Sira Naturals Inc policies and procedures as instructed and full compliance with MA 105 CMR 725.

Development

• Manage the Inventory Team with enthusiasm and urgency to train and develop your team’s growth and foster a community of support.

• Hold your team to a high standard and ensure communication is fluid and consistent with both praise feedback and constructive feedback. Ensure documentation of constructive feedback for accountability across your team.

• Support the Inventory team and Dispensary managers to ensure the dispensary has the proper inventory controls in place. This may include partnering with other locations outside your home dispensary.

• Oversee the Inventory Specialists and Inventory Leads who perform mandatory weekly audits.

• Oversee the Inventory specialists, Inventory Leads and Intake Leads to accurately intake SN and 3rd party deliveries.

• Maintain strong communication amongst the inventory team and sales floor team through weekly email communications, touch bases, and chat ins.

• Facilitate 90 day and 6 month check ins as well as annual performance reviews to all inventory team members.

Product Procurement

• Work with the Wholesale Procurement Manager to source and vet cannabis products from other producers.

• Manage all 3rd party product ordering for retail by working closely with the Wholesale Procurement Manager.

• Review all new vendor packaging, testing, and manifests to ensure compliance of deliveries. Communicate any issues or challenges to the vendor prior to store delivery.

• Maintain procurement documentation: ensuring COAs are accurate available for dispensary staff for all 3rd party products, reviewing invoices and make sure they are sent to Accounts Payable in a timely fashion, and update procurement trackers in real time.

• Manage the medicated and non-medicated inventory levels by forecasting weekly the product on hand.

• Manage and oversee the inventory team in daily audits of Dutchie and Leaf Logix to ensure product descriptions are up to date and maintain a five-star score on Dutchie daily.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner.

• Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Commission.

• Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Commission.

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of delivering strong results in an Inventory/Logistics position in a

• fulfillment/distribution, pharmacy or retail environment.

• Established ability to deliver sincere and consistent leadership to a diverse team.

• Experience with budgets, cash handling and POS/inventory control systems.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume environment.

• Experience working in a highly regulated industry.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekend and some holidays.

• Able to escort and assist patients with disabilities in navigating the dispensary, consultation couches,

• registers, entrances and exits.

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position frequently communicates with staff. Must be able to exchange accurate

information about product availability/offerings.

• Frequently operates computer/POS system and other standard office equipment such as printers,

phones and photocopy machine.

Our Retail Inventory Manager will be responsible for involved inventory recording, compliance, and accuracy in all phases of the Retail sales of cannabis products in the dispensary.
