Focused on supply chain compliance, the role includes risk analysis and mitigation, technical analysis, and creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the Company’s manufacturing, distribution, retail, and non-storefront retail licensees. Leaving no stone left unturned, this extremely detail-oriented candidate is excited to investigate, problem-solve, remediate, and develop processes to hold personnel accountable to compliant operations as part of the Company’s drive to create an impermeable culture of compliance. What You’ll Do Identify supply chain compliance risks by reviewing and analyzing the following: States of underlying transactions in the Company’s ERP and Metrc such as Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Wholesale Proof of Delivery Completeness and accuracy of Metrc Transport and Transfer Manifests The status and/or closure of Metrc Transport and Transfer Manifests The reporting, completeness, and accuracy of Retail Sales Receipts Identify KPIs to highlight adherence to processes sensitive to errors in the company’s supply chain, and establish thresholds for success to communicate to teams charged with executing these processes. Work with the VP, IT and Head of Compliance to develop monitoring and auditing plans targeting supply chain compliance risks to ensure ongoing compliance Evaluate Supply Chain processes and make recommendations for: guardrails to be installed in the Company’s ERP SOPs and/or modifications to existing processes to alleviate downstream compliance and/or efficiency issues that may arise. Review SOPs created by business units for their risks to compliance with regard to the supply chain and develop SOPs where none exist. Prepare weekly supply chain compliance reports for the Head of Compliance. Work closely with cross-functional departments including Supply Chain and Logistics, Finance, Business Intelligence, and Business Systems. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. What You Have Required at least 1 (one) year of prior experience working directly in admin/management of California’s track-and-trace system, Metrc. Required at least 2 (two) years of prior experience regulated cannabis industry systems administration and/or compliance with working knowledge of California’s state-level cannabis regulations. Strongly prefer 2-3 years of prior experience in supply chain data analysis. Strongly prefer experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing standard operating procedures specific to supply chain management. Required prior experience in inventory auditing. Strong eye for data analytics is a must. Required ability to understand, explain, and disseminate regulations. This role will require 50% on-site/ in-office presence (when Covid/ SIP restrictions lift). Job Requirements Work revolves around objectives, projects and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
