Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for tracking bulk inventory and ensuring accurate records that identify released inventory by value stream. The incumbent will maintain the finished goods planner and identifies trends in sales, forecast accuracy to ensure adherence to targets days of inventory for WIP and finished goods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare Finished Goods Planner, monthly, as new sales forecasts are issued.

• Track and report on schedule performance from operations.

• Track inventory of finished goods and WIP and reports if trends are outside of plan which may impact targeted days of inventory targets.

• Maintain Key performance indicators as defined by the department.

• Report on slow moving and obsolete inventory.

• Identifies potential inventory risks in changes of demand due to obsolescence or slowing demand.

• Work center capacity and utilization tracking.

• Prepare reports/charts for the Sales and Operations Planning meeting.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 3-5 years' experience in a supply chain or financial analyst role.

• Previous ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner) systems experience would be an asset.

Education / Certifications:

• Post-secondary education in business administration, supply chain management, or a closely related field.

Technical Skills:

• Must be project driven with strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Must be extremely accurate in maintaining complex databases.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products including advanced Excel capabilities.
