Job Description

Our client, one of SoCal’s largest licensed cannabis dispensary operators, needs experienced store managers to help it keep up with its location and same store growth. Cannabis knowledge is not required, and the overwhelming majority of the responsibilities are not on the retail floor. Their floor leads run the sales floor, you’ll identify, prepare and support them as leaders worthy of promotion.

This is your chance to transition your experience running a fast paced, high staff count, multi-dimension operation like a restaurant, bar, hotel, or consumer service provider, into a new challenge with massive upside rewards. You owe it to yourself to learn more about this opportunity, and it won’t be sugarcoated.

There’s a strong possibility of an internal corporate or regional role after learning the industry.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Staffing – making the most of an unbelievable pipeline of applicants and a team of 30+ in place

- Quality Assurance – running our winning company playbook to perfection

- Leadership Development – identifying and preparing staff for advancement

- Compliance – ensuring that the operation is following the laws, regs and SOPs.

- Limited Role in Cash Management & Community Relations

Required:

- 10+ years retail experience

- Consistent leadership roles and advancement

- Ability to adapt and work odd hours as needed

- High traffic industry, in store plus remote delivery preferred

- Great appreciation for change and capability to adapt

- Moderate technology comfort level
