Position: Budtender / Intake Specialist

Location: Sun Valley

Position Summary:

Our Budtender/Intake Specialist greets and assists patients and customers in a friendly, attentive, and helpful manner, both in person and over the phone. This team member is an outstanding customer service professional and is responsible for the customer experience, which includes helping customers, processing the transaction, cash handling, and stellar customer service.

You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences. As a critical part of the business operation

Must be outgoing, passionate, and very knowledgeable on the products and cannabis. Also assist the Management Team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

• Provide the highest level of customer service while interacting with patients and customers on-site and over the phone by having an optimistic attitude and welcoming personality

• Process-in patients and customers by validating identification and enter information securely into our POS system

• Operate front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, emails, checking-in patients, and updating patient files

• Provide all new patients/customers with a brief explanation of services

• Become well-educated with all cannabis products offered and/ or be willing to learn

• Ability to present promotions and specials in a manner of up selling to our customers

• Check with Inventory Team for new product received and any conversion needs

• Check with Marketing and have clear understanding of all promotions, specials, pricing, and up sell opportunities

• Audit floor to ensure all product offerings are available and displays are filled properly

• Manage all visitor access of vendors, contractors, etc., partnered with the Store Manager or Assistant Manager

• Act as liaison to all departments on security needs

• Motivated to learn and execute new tasks during downtime

• Ensure that the common areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies

• Coordinates with the appropriate department personnel regarding any questions and issues

• Provides administrative assistance as needed

• Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed

• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork

• All other duties as assigned

Additional Functions:

• Adhere to the chain of command and company organizational structure

• Must be possess a positive and willing to learn attitude

• Possess strong conflict resolution skills with troubled and angry patients/customers

• State issues driver's license or State issued Identification card

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

• Must pass any and all required background checks

• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

• Must follow internal policies and procedures at all times

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a retail cannabis facility and may be odorous at times

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.

• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.

• Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with products.

Minimum Education and

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

• Previous high transaction volume inventory management

• Food and Beverage or medical office experience a plus

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Additional requirements:

• Nevada driver's license or State .

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

• Must pass any and all required background checks.

• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

• Must be approved by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board to receive and maintain an agent card.
