We are looking for a passionate, creative, and canna-friendly social media manager to join our team. As a social media manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to educate patients and destigmatize Medical Cannabis use. You will use your expertise to increase our online presence and enhance our marketing efforts. You will be working closely with our marketing and patient experience teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy

  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as SEMrush, Bitly, Link Tree, and Canva
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Patient Experience teams
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong community

A day in the life

  • Creating graphics and editing images
  • Writing engaging captions
  • Responding to any comments or messages on FB, TW, Social
  • Coordinate with team members about any campaigns or emails
  • Manage links in link tree and bitly
  • Respond to all google reviews and messages
  • Add necessary documents to Sharepoint/teams
  • Check post analytics and adjust strategies

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience in Marketing, Social Media Coordination, or similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms
  • Proficiency in Canva or other design platforms
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great understanding of social media best practices
  • Experience running campaigns and giveaways
  • Excellent writer and ability to adapt to our brand style
