The Shift Lead Receptionist position is responsible for supporting the team by creating a welcoming experience for each customer. We are looking for reliable and energetic individuals who want to be a part of a growing company in a growing industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage 10 minute breaks and mandatory 30 minute meal breaks, cover for the team during breaks
  • Light coaching for setting expectations for the team
  • Greeting customers politely and welcoming them
  • Completing check in procedures including verifying correct identification prior to entering the store
  • Meet monthly sales goals by providing product recommendations to customers
  • Responding to customer inquiries and reviews through yelp
  • Complete sanitizing procedures
  • Clean commonly used areas and bathrooms

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • Customer service experience including de-escalating upset customers
  • Experience in Treez preferred, but not required
  • General knowledge of computer and software systems

Communication Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
  • Follow the chain of command set in place when question or issues evolve
  • Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

Mathematical Skills

  • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Able to use a calculator.
  • Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios.
  • Must be able to make change using American monetary units.

Reasoning Ability

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands

  • This position requires constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing.
  • Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours.
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
