REVCANNA - Operations Manager: The Operations Manager is essential to providing a welcoming, safe, and educational customer experience at Enlightened dispensaries. The Operations Manager will be responsible for upholding operational compliance with state laws and federal laws, ensuring efficient dispensary operations, supporting team development, perform Human Resources duties, oversee standardized procedures, and other duties assigned to you. As part of the Leadership Team you will be expected to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization and exterior stakeholders, in order to execute company goals, policies, and procedures in accordance with REVCANNA standards and regulatory requirements. This is Cannabis for People.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing, supervising, and directing dispensary operations and staff;
  • Participate in implementing best practices, regulatory processes, internal policies, and standardized procedures;
  • Serve as the dispensary’s secondary point-of-contact;
  • Assist with staff management by communicating hiring needs, opportunities for employee advancement, and pursue disciplinary action when necessary;
  • Ensure staff training according to company guidelines, complete performance reviews, and employee development opportunities;
  • Lead by example and uphold a culture of accountability and professionalism;
  • Manage and provide training for internal staff to consistently deliver the highest level of customer service;
  • Ensure the safety and security of customers and employees throughout all operations;
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of cannabis products on a local and national level;
  • Closely follow state rules and regulations in order to disseminate details to staff and customers;
  • Provide education to staff about local product offerings and cannabis administration methods;
  • Assist the General Manager as needed, including Human Resources tasks such as creating employee schedules;
  • Manage financial records and cash handling procedures;
  • Manage the utilization of point-of-sale and seed-to-sale tracking systems;
  • Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with all regulations and lead the team through state inspections without violation;
  • Maintain state-mandated documentation and record keeping protocols as well as internal reporting requirements;
  • Liaise with the corporate team to implement policies and fulfill dispensary needs;
  • Maintain staff documents and ensure employee credentials remain valid for the entirety of the employment period.

Qualifications:
  • Previous managerial experience in a fast-paced environment required;
  • Strong and reliable work ethic;
  • Compassionate customer service approach;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Must have reliable mode of transportation;
  • Experience conducting HR tasks;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • At least 5-years of experience working in retail, hospitality or health care organization;
  • Proven track record in ability to cultivate long-term customer relationships;
  • Computer use proficiency including familiarity utilizing Microsoft Office and Outlook applications;
  • Point-of-Sale and cash management experience is required;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Must have Team Player mentality;
  • Ability to problem solve in a professional manner;
  • Self-starter with organized ability to multi-task;
  • Must have availability to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts;
  • Must be at least 21 years of age;
  • Must pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI;
  • Must obtain and maintain a Dispensary Registration Identification card from the local governing department.

This is a full-time position reporting to the VP, People &amp; Places.</p><p> <b>As the PAX Facilities &amp; Office Operations Manager, you will:</b></p><ul><li>Serve as the first point of contact for facilities issues and ensure prompt, best-in-class service is maintained whether issues are resolved in-house or by one of our partners</li><li>Develop and maintain standards for planned preventative maintenance and office upkeep</li><li>Manage real estate searches, office moves, refurbishments and additional facilities-related projects; drive the lease agreement process, working with external service providers and cross-functional team members</li><li>Manage our office assistant and vendors responsible for day-to-day office operations, including food, security and janitorial services</li><li>In conjunction with the People Team, support regular events across all offices to help scale our culture as we grow</li><li>Work closely with the People Operations team to ensure the office experience aligns with the PAX Values &amp; Norms</li><li>Own overall space planning, including coordinating with appropriate business unit leaders and maintaining seating charts, etc.</li><li>Ensure that new and existing hires have a positive space experience, from onboarding to offboarding</li><li>Plan and oversee the emergency operations plan for all locations</li><li>Develop a global strategy for our building vendors as we grow</li><li>Develop and implement innovative programs and processes that aim to reduce operating costs and increase productivity and longevity, for both people and systems</li></ul><p><b>WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU</b></p><ul><li>5+ years experience as a manager responsible for operations at office sites across multiple locations</li><li>2+ years of supervisory experience</li><li>Willingness to be the first troubleshooter with facility-related issues as needed</li><li>A balanced mix of people, technical, analytical and operations skills</li><li>Experience with managing real estate landlord/broker relationships and scaling operations to support growth</li><li>Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively cross-functionally</li><li>Experience with Google Suite, MS Office &amp; Excel</li><li>Experience with adapting to the needs of different office populations</li><li>Proven skills in planning, budgeting and project management</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and thrive in a constantly changing environment</li><li>Willingness to work after hours and on weekends from time-to-time as construction or facilities-related projects require</li></ul><p><b>EDUCATION</b></p><ul><li>BA Degree, or equivalent applicable work experience</li></ul><p>Don't let the confidence gap get in the way of applying!
