The Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst with GTI, you will help execute on key corporate finance decisions, including analysis over market objectives, operational performance (with respective comparison to market/industry performance), and budgeting requirements. You will gather relevant data, build and support operational models, and engage in active dialogue with GTI's management team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the business KPIs and drivers for our business and understand, highlight, and investigate any causes of variance
  • Support the actual, forecast, earnings release, and budgeting process for all aspects of the GTI business from manufacturing to retail
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data such as budgets and income statement forecasts to evaluate and execute against GTI's goals
  • Build and automate dashboards to provide financial visibility to business partners
  • Maintain and improve the tools and systems for our financial and accounting reporting, and provide recommendations to automate the monthly reporting packages where possible
  • Prepare monthly reports outlining department expenses and communicate to department heads
  • Interact with management teams and advisors on ad hoc requests and projects
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly results presentations for the executive team
  • Develop a deep level of understanding of the cannabis market and competitors
  • Drive process improvement and policy development

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other related degree
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
  • Proven experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Cognos, or a related software
  • Strong modeling skills and excellent Excel & PowerPoint knowledge
  • Understanding of all financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cashflows
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility with team members at various levels within our org
  • Willingness to hustle; we operate at a fast pace, and we expect team members to keep up

This is a part time position.</p><p><b>Product Dispenser duties include but are not limited to:</b></p><p>Provide exceptional customer service; Maintain knowledge on the various strains of cannabis offered through the Retail Dispensary; Possess a general knowledge of the approved qualifying medical conditions to have a better understanding of the patient’s symptoms and product options; Utilize well-versed knowledge on all cannabinoids, as well as how they affect the body; Recommend appropriate cannabis products, methods of delivery and proper dosing in accordance with established guidelines to ensure positive patient experience; Solicit feedback to better understand customer needs and the needs of the community; Daily inventory counts and reconciliation; Receive store and inventory supplies; notify Dispensary Manager when levels are low; Prepare medicated products and accessories for display, assuring highest quality in appearance and presentation; Assist with all dispensary housekeeping functions (i.e. cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.) to ensure an overall cleanliness of the Retail Dispensary, bathrooms and breakroom; must be willing/able to work with a variety of cleaning supplies and chemicals; Assist patients with disabilities; Operate with integrity and honesty, adhering to all Company policies and procedures; Perform all other duties/tasks as assigned by the Dispensary Manager.</p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><p>Must be 21 years of age or older; Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; Bachelor’s degree is preferred; Demonstrated passion for serving the medical and adult use cannabis community. Ability to work independently and in a team setting; Excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written; Ability to use a Computer and learn new systems; Cannabis product knowledge: effects, genetics, and intake methods preferred; Retail experience highly desired; Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment; Organization and planning skills; Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.</p><p>Background Check: As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit to a background check.
