What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking a Quality Control Compliance Manager to become an integral part of our team!

The Quality Control Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Company’s portfolio of products is manufactured under the highest quality conditions. This role will be responsible for creating and overseeing quality management practices and programs at all levels of the Company and product lifecycle. The Quality Control Compliance Manager will liaise with internal supply chain and operations teams to supervise meeting production deadlines and that the company’s products are available for customers in the market. This position will be responsible for both product compliance and quality as well as developing internal compliance processes and will be required to analyze and resolve matters and issues as they arise in real time. Sound judgement skills are essential. Must be a self-starter who can effectively and professionally work well in a high volume, fast-paced environment and be willing to learn and develop new procedures as the need arises.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and oversee quality management practices and programs to facilitate the production of quality products via a network of suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of a quality management program.
  • Establish and oversee raw material, production, and releasability standards
  • Liaise, negotiate, and manage relationships with the company’s networks of suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics partners.
  • Curate and maintain organized documentation for product master records and batch records, specifications, and sampling results.
  • Perform site inspections and audits at active or potential contract manufacturers and ingredient providers.
  • Provide analysis of product and consumer requirements, regulations, and industry standards to internal stakeholders to support business operations and ensure proper controls and quality management are in place and utilized.
  • Lead incident response and give clear and concise direction to partner teams when/if product safety or quality concerns arise.
  • Contribute to department and organization with special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in appropriate field or discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with quality or compliance of beverage or food production
  • HACCP certification preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA rules and regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of GMP manufacturing practices for food or beverage
  • Experience conducting or managing third party food grade product audits
  • Proficiency in creating, implementing, and auditing comprehensive policies, SOPs, and other procedures.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Mature judgement in handling sensitive data and problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in order to meet project deadlines
  • Highly motivated with a desire to participate, learn and contribute
  • Outstanding organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
