Carbon Grower Support Specialist/Manager

The Carbon Customer Service Manager is the grower-facing customer support role for Truterra’s carbon programs. This will provide frontline support to grower inquiries and manage customer contracting processes, ensuring a positive experience for growers involved in all Truterra programs. Additionally, the Carbon Customer Service Manager will own the processes and tools used to support and track all customer communications.
Responsibilities include:
Customer Support (70%)
  • Provide front line support for customers by answering phone calls and emails, providing information on products, services and procedures
  • Investigate, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve customer problems
  • Identify customer pain points and escalate as needed
  • Review customer disputes and process as approved by the business
  • Manage grower contracting processes
Internal Collaboration and Process Improvement (30%)
  • Work cross-functionally with Truterra communication, Member Owner Engagement, and data collection teams to improve communications and the overall customer experience
  • Implement and execute customer relationship management tools for tracking grower communication
  • Develop and implement process improvements that will enhance efficiency and improve customer experiences
  • Ensure appropriate processes are in place, documented and communicated appropriately to stakeholders
  • Manage and collaborate with subcontracted partners customer support teams to ensure a positive and seamless customer experience

Education/experience/skills required:
  • Bachelors Degree in agriculture or equivalent experience
  • 2 years experience in customer service
  • 6+ years ag or carbon-related skills/experience
  • Ability to build relationships with key customers inside and outside of the organization to enhance the levels of cooperation, collaboration and trust
  • Ability to respond to customers with patience and empathy and resolve concerns

  • Strong decision making, problem solving and communication skills, including active listening
