Job Summary:

As a Sanitation?Technician?you will be responsible for production process related cleaning and sanitizing the facility and equipment in an accurate and timely manner, while meeting quality and safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow sanitation cleaning procedures as required in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for facility, grounds, and equipment

• Sanitize plant processing equipment prior to use to meet or exceed safety requirements

• Ensure a clean and sanitized facility to meet or exceed plant safety requirements

• Apply cleaning chemicals to surfaces, following WHMIS requirements

• Work in a very warm and wet environment (greenhouses)

• Work on a variety of tasks in fast paced environment. You like to multi-task.

• Pick up other duties as assigned by your manager or designate

Qualifications:

• 0 - 1 years experience as a General Labourer

• Previous experience working in a cannabis manufacturing environment is preferred but not required

• Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labour tasks required for employment in a commercial scale indoor growing facility

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as physical aptitude for bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching and standing for extended periods of time

• Monitoring and attention to detail and accuracy, including thorough documentation abilities

• Adaptability and flexibility

• Ability to act independently and as a team member

• Ability to prioritize activities and adjust priorities on short notice

• Excellent comprehension, communication and interpersonal skills

• Custodial or sanitation experience an asset

• Knowledge of GMP and GPP is an asset
