OVERVIEW

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for ensuring that the facility remains sterile by following Standard Operating Procedures set out and enforced by Health Canada. You will be supporting multiple departments within the organization to ensure the efficiency of production and packaging of premium Flowr product.


YOU
WILL

  • Sanitize and scrub reprocessing rooms, pre and post-harvest
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment and rooms are clean prior to being used
  • Remove waste throughout the facility
  • Assist in the packaging, weighing, and labeling harvested Flowr product for shipment or storage
  • Prune, top, trim, and water plants
  • Perform maintenance duties to ensure the safety of the facility, climbing ladders, moving product, operating machinery, etc.
  • Be a vital part of the success of Flowr, working within all departments to ensure all regulations are being upheld
  • Assist Cannabis destruction, that takes place both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

WHO YOU ARE

  • Able to work with limited supervision
  • Highly motivated and possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt within a constantly changing environment
  • Comfortable working with cleaning products
  • Comfortable spraying, scrubbing, and other repetitive actions normally performed when cleaning
  • Comfortable working in conditions normally found in the packaging area; temperature, humidity, noise, etc.
  • Willing to complete a mask fit test; clean shaved face
  • Working in tough environment doesn’t bother you, willing to clean on your knees, in tight, small spaces with multiple other people in the same space
  • Looking for long term employment, passionate about your role
