The responsibilities of the Compassionate Care Sales Associate include greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing firsthand experiences of cannabis products to address customer concerns. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out.You should also be able to answer customers’ questions regarding the different products, their medicinal uses, and methods of consumption.

To be successful as a Compassionate Care Sales Associate, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in Virginia's cannabis and hemp laws to maintain legal compliance. Ultimately, and outstanding CCSA should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Responsibilities:

  • Advising customers on suitable CBD products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, special offers, and reactions to different products
  • Keeping abreast of new hemp products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
  • Processing customers' payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ensuring that the store is clean and well-organized at all times.
  • Educating customers on the safe use of their selected products.
  • Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling products as required.
  • Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
  • Taking inventory of products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
  • Assist with deliveries, events, trade shows, and ad hoc work.
  • Provide customer feed back to Store Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
  • Knowledge of holistic remedies, health and wellness, and their medicinal benefits. Desired
  • Excellent analytical, outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Excellent communication and exceptional customer service skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
