Our client is a new and exciting pre-roll brand in Canada that is growing rapidly

including an expansion into the USA. The business has world-class pre-roll equipment, an

excellent operational and commercial team and is looking to strengthen its sales and

distribution by hiring an experienced professional to drive the sales of the Canadian and US

Operations.

What you’ll do:

• Own and drive monthly and quarterly sales targets & accelerate sales growth

• Track sell-in and drive sell-through

• Build and process sales orders

• Build strategic sell-in and sell-through plans

• Build and manage key relationships with business partners including our 3rd party distribution agent

• Direct a team of in-house brand ambassadors

• Create memorable customer experiences

• Accelerate sales with wholesale and retail partners through a variety of tasks including, frequent in-person activity with customers, managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, deploying brand ambassadors, and implementing digital & physical marketing strategies to promote sales

• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners

• Lead the relationship between our partners and marketing team to build on brand awareness

• Promote brand awareness with customers by educating them about our products, monitoring their feedback, tracking their preferences, and effectively addressing their questions. As well as implement marketing strategies

• Monitoring inventory and pricing and adapting swiftly to changing circumstances is paramount in your ability to sell the product

• Implement brand activations with collaborators

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar cannabis Sales Management role (with experience in both the US and Canada a significant advantage)

• A track record of success in sales and distribution of consumer packaged goods

• Strong verbal written communication skills; extraordinary listening skills

• Ability to establish credibility with key partners, decision-makers & influencers

• High energy that creates an inclusive and positive workplace for all stakeholders

• Proven leadership skills and ability to work with 3rd party agency partners

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Must be able to travel to the US and across Canada, 25% travel
