The Technical Sales Development Rep function at InSpire is dynamic, multidisciplinary, customer facing and team focused with a keen eye on closing sales and supporting projects from initial contact all the way through post sales and service support.

Key role functions:

· Supports the sales team through diligent management of CRM

· Identifies opportunities and proactively reaches out to existing leads and contacts.

· Utilizes cannabis intimacy and communication skills to qualify and convert leads into opportunities utilizing project data to ensure time is focused on revenue generation and profit.

· Coordinates and schedules meetings between potential customers and Cannabis Business Specialist.

· Generates new leads and contacts through existing network, channel partners and outgoing efforts such as reaching out to newly awarded licensees and attending events.

· Provides knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVACD system related solutions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based considerations.

· Responsible for generating, optimizing, and validating HVACD equipment selections based on size, configuration, and voltage by reviewing plans, specifications, estimates and proposals.

· Coordinates with HVACD Engineer in the interpretation of specifications and finalizing technical proposal details.

· Responsible for preparing the correct equipment for order entry.

· Monitors regulatory changes to cannabis law on a state by state and county by county basis to assist in geographic sales strategies.

· Research relevant topics related to HVACD and cannabis cultivation and assist with webinar production.

· Leverages other members of the leadership team for support when appropriate.

· Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required.

Qualifications:

· Motivated and self-starting. The ideal candidate sees what needs to be done and follows through without being told.

· Strategic thinker that stays current with industry trends

· Fluent with technology. Has a strong background with software tools such as Microsoft Office and is excited to learn new tools. Salesforce experience is a plus.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, horticulture, biology or equivalent from four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.'
