Cannabis Operations ManagerReporting to the President & CEO, the Operations Manager must be self-motivated and results-driven to direct and manage the organization's operations, while developing implementing effective business strategies and programs. This role will manage various departments and set operational efficiencies and objectives that will support effective scaling of the business. The General Manager must possess excellent communication skills and have a strong understanding of the Canadian cannabis industry.Job Duties

• Oversee day-to-day operations

• Support employees directly

• Responsible for oversight of all operations; cultivation, compliance, sales etc.

• Understand and develop as needed, department staffing and organization, present changes to org chart as necessary to achieve organizational goals and results

• Create and manage departmental budgets

• Ability to coach and lead the various Teams

• Actively participate in hiring, training and developing teams through ongoing coaching programs

• Evaluate performance and productivity of teams and management

• Analyze applicable accounting and financial data

• Other duties as required

Requirements

• 2-5 years minimum experience in the cannabis industry

• 2-5 years experience in a management role

• Post-secondary degree

• Excellent knowledge of different business functions

• Strong people leader with experience managing multiple teams that consist of over 50 staff

• Excellent communication skills

• Fully versed in Excel, Powerpoint and Word

• Organized

• Strong work ethic

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Must be able to clear a criminal background check

• Must be able to fluently speak and write in English

Work ConditionsThis role requires a company-provided uniform and additional Personal Protective Equipment to be worn when completing duties and inspections in the production area of the facility.

• Physical effort will be required from time to time

• Will be exposed to rooms with high heat and humidity

• Long periods of sitting or standing

• Full use of applicable PPE when spending time in the production areas of the facility

• Moderate lifting up to 50lbs
