We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis operations within each state to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical-grade cannabis formulations in the United States, offering patients and customers premium cannabis and related products.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Lead all merchandising efforts for Accessories, Ancillary Products, and General Merchandise for all Beyond / Hello stores nationally
  • Lead product development and merchandising for all private brands, including merchandise for the Bank, Lab, Nira+, Tasteology, Beyond / Hello and Jushi
  • Lead the development and management of our E-Commerce platform where we will sell all branded merchandise to end consumers and internal stakeholders for marketing efforts
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers nationally to ensure best possible costing and to procure a best in class General Merchandise assortment for our stores
  • Lead pricing efforts for Accessories, Ancillary Products and GM to ensure a strong value proposition for our patients and customers
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive category results while managing progress toward sales and margin goals


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College degree, MBA preferred
  • Strong financial and data acumen
  • This position will travel 50%-75% of the time
  • Must have 3-5 years of corporate retail merchandising, buying, or category management experience
  • P&L management experience a plus
  • Must be an advanced Excel user
  • Must have experience in data reporting software, such as Tableau, Domo, Snowflake, Microstrategy, etc.
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional teams

with a variety of competing priorities, you can calmly manage it all and are able to balance a continuously evolving workload;</p><p>• Passionate and purposeful; everything you do has a purpose, and you have a passion or interest in contributing to larger goal of improving the legal cannabis sector.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p>• Lead the development of the Value Portfolio’s annual brand planning and quarterly calendar processes including campaign proposals, product launches and the identification of the brand’s strategic imperatives;</p><p>• Own the briefing process for all campaign + rebranding workstreams from initialization through execution including the engagement with Executive stakeholders, sales partners and retail customer sell-in;</p><p>• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;</p><p>• Work with the Brand Manager – Value to ensure all product launch tools &amp; customer-specific programs are completed on-time &amp; in-full for launch;</p><p>• Work closely with our Insights team and be able to evaluate research on business drivers to specify customer requirements for existing/upcoming products;</p><p>• Analyze marketing programs and recommend improvement to strategic plans;</p><p>• Manage &amp; oversee the Value team’s interactions with the product, creative studio, digital/insights, trade marketing and project management teams to ensure launches are held to the highest brand standards;</p><p>• Integrate brand building efforts with other business units, such as key account managers and field sales, trade marketing and client care;</p><p>• Manage and allocate the annual budget across all of the brands within the Value portfolio;</p><p>• Lead the creation of product training plans for sales representatives and client care representatives;</p><p>• Other duties as may be required.</p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p>• University degree in marketing or business preferred;</p><p>• 8+ years of direct work experience in a fast-moving consumer goods marketing, brand management position, or account management agency role;</p><p>• Proven track record delighting consumers, growing market share &amp;
