We are currently looking for Retail Store Manager to join our growing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing staff, schedules, inventory and customer relations
  • Serves as a resource for staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations;
  • Responsible for submitting and reconciling weekly orders from OCS
  • Responds to all staff questions, concerns or suggestions
  • Resolves conflicts in a timely manner
  • Responsible for delegating tasks to Lead Sales Associate and Sales Associates in order to maintain a compliant and clean retail store
  • Coordinates with upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to staff
  • Managing human resources functions, including staff scheduling, payroll and updating SOPs and HR policies
  • Ensure store security systems are operational and utilized when necessary to investigate security or shrink concerns
  • Conduct staff training and implementation of standard operating procedures and other requirements
  • Managing and implementing training on POS systems
  • Managing staff Human Resources and Payroll and assist with interviewing new staff
  • Provides extraordinary customer service for vendors and customers
  • Responds to all customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions in a timely manner
  • Oversees online order pickups to ensure accurate order information and timeliness of pickup
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities including daily cash reconciliations, inventory, sales, online orders and returns in accordance with the AGCO
  • Accurate daily, weekly, and monthly recaps and reporting from sales data
  • Maintain inventory control system and perform inventory counts on weekly products in the store
  • Provide regular inventory, sales and profitability reports to the CEO/Management Team
  • Accountable for monthly federal and regulatory reporting submissions to AGCO
  • Other tasks might be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office; highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience in data entry and data management
  • Knowledgeable in product, resourceful, creative and solution-oriented
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize ongoing promotions
  • A leader with a proven ability to hire, train others and retain talent
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop and motivate a sales team
  • Proven ability to drive extraordinary customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and developing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about cannabis history, products, and accessories

Requirements:

  • Retail Manager Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Minimum 6 months of store experience in a regulated Canadian cannabis retail store
  • Minimum age - 19 years old or age as specified by the Ontario provincial government
  • Able to lift boxes 5 - 30 lbs
  • Must be flexible with hours of work and be comfortable with changing duties
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of AGCO regulations and reporting requirements
  • CannSell certification required
  • Ontario Retail Managers License from AGCO
  • Criminal background check required.
