Call Center Team Lead

A Call Center Team Lead will lead the operations and the associates of the Delivery Department. Assist with maximizing the productivity of Delivery Associates. Ensure Associates’ quality of service and positive customer exchanges. Ensure exemplary client service from order placement through delivery. Accurately and efficiently record all delivery transactions. Be responsible for the logical tracking and recording of delivered products, cash handling, and merchant processing. Communicate any departmental issues to the Delivery & Call Center Manager. Provide exceptional service in all interactions. Understand, embrace, and embody the mission of Harborside.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)

  • Lead the operations of the department.
  • Provide a department schedule for supervisor approval ; View, edit and approve timecards.
  • Assume management responsibilities when the supervisor is absent, and report back to the supervisor accordingly.
  • Supervise, coach and communicate with department staff to meet and exceed performance expectations
  • Provide recognition and discipline when appropriate
  • Manage assigned driver gas cards as necessary
  • Ensure the department provides excellent service and exceptional client interactions to achieve Harborside’s standards for client care.
  • Ensure that all phases of the client experience remain seamless and exceed their expectations.
  • Provide exceptional service and product knowledge.
  • Communicate information to clients about special pricing, referral program, the recognition program
  • Address and resolve client complaints; escalate service issues in an expedient manner
  • Maintain inventory updates with main office, restocking, reconciliation and analysis following Harborside policies and procedures.
  • Maintain delivery, vehicle, product inventory and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, completing driver tracking, expense, and timesheets.
  • Conduct and report general vehicle inspection
  • Adheres to the standards of the road by safely operating the vehicle and complying with state and local driving rules and regulations.
  • Utilize Harborside’s communication equipment (GPS, company phone, Bluetooth) for communication with the sales department and clients in a safe manner.
  • Prepare delivery vehicle by loading client orders, securing items and cross-checking paperwork
  • Ensure the drivers' drawers are completed.
  • Appropriately authorize discounts and other changes in sales receipts
  • Interface with the Inventory Department to fulfill client product requests.
  • Ensure Harborside policies and procedures are being observed by staff in the department.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are accurately performed.
  • Maintain a positive, caring attitude, and treat clients/co-workers with respect and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrate leadership and compassionate management.
  • Partner with the supervisor to ensure all performance expectations are being met.
  • Ensure Harborside policies and procedures are being observed by department staff.
  • Supervise, coach, and communicate with department staff to meet and exceed performance expectations.
  • Provide drafts and input when writing staff performance evaluations.
  • Partner with the supervisor to provide recognition and discipline where appropriate.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with client information.
  • Follow and integrate Harborside policies and procedures into all on-the-job interactions, tasks and behaviors.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform associate duties as required including but not limited to driving an d routing
  • Ensure laboratory test results are current and accurate
  • Maintain and ensure all departmental equipment is functioning and in good working order
  • Attend required meetings and participate in team and professional development activities
  • Fill in when short-staffed
  • Provide timely and appropriate feedback to Supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors
