The Position: We are looking for a Dispensary Store Manager to join our team. The position will create and support retail operational excellence to achieve each store’s financial and customer-service goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths and challenges.

• Retail Leadership: field-based in physical stores

• Focus on our dispensaries with Store Managers reporting into this role.

• Daily travel potential up to 75% with some overnights.

• Required to live in either the Bend or Portland Oregon areas.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role of building and leading successful retail sales teams

• Possess or willing to obtain an OLCC (Oregon) marijuana workers permit, and comply with all OLCC and company regulations and company policies

• 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively work in collaboration with team to achieve objectives in a participative management style. Motivate, coach and strengthen store managers as team leaders, retail operators, and business owners.

• Management of performance & productivity through a commitment to sensible store scheduling.

• Responsible in partnership with dispensary leadership to meet or exceed all financial targets, and execute all retail strategies and initiatives

• Actively seek solutions and provide trends & feedback to senior management team to drive technology and operational improvements, interface effectively with internal development teams and service owners

• Drive sales by setting best-in-class store experience plus keeping friendly and inviting stores.

• Maintain visual standards across all retail operations, including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting and general maintenance.

• Assist in the opening of new stores in your territory, and at times, cover for store managers in their absence.

• Responsible for legal compliance as related to METRC (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting & Compliance), including but not limited to city, state, and local requirements.

• Enforce all company policies and procedures, including health and safety.

• Maintain integrity of all confidential information. NDA required.

Essentials/Must Haves:

• Experience with a proven track record in leading physical retail stores with superior customer focus.

• Demonstrated results-oriented leadership including the ability to model total development and serve as a steward of Tumalo Industries’ mission and values.

• Excellent communication skills: firm but fair, with the ability to deliver clear and direct written and oral feedback. Great at developing rapport, trust and open communication with store teams

• Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations

• Superior business acumen, comfortable with retail metrics.

• Desire and ability to go above and beyond designated duties. Able to self-manage, prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Flexible and adaptable to continuous change/growth. Excitement about working in a fast-paced start-up a plus!

• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions

• Knowledge of retail cannabis a plus (not required)

• Computer proficiency in MS Office

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting and reporting function to support the growth plans of Tantalus Labs. They will assist the CFO in providing efficient and prudent oversight on company capital resources, budgeting, reporting, projections, financial strategy, and capital structure. They will also be accountable for assisting the development of the Finance Department, including talent development and investor relations. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><p></p><p><b><br />Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Administer company accounting practices and policies</li><li>Ensure quality control over financial transactions and accurate and timely production of monthly financial reporting with analysis of results</li><li>Accurate and timely completion of month end, quarter end and year end close processes</li><li>Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day accounting, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, inventory integrity, fixed assets, payroll, financial reporting</li><li>Prepare month-end and annual financial statements and supplemental reporting (MD&amp;A) with the CFO for senior management, Board of Directors, and shareholders</li><li>Assist in the budgeting process.
