About the Role

We’re looking for a Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join our Information Technology Team. The GRC Analyst will be responsible for assessing and documenting OCS’s compliance and risk posture as they relate to our information assets as well as providing technical and information security expertise to ensure effective system-wide security analysis, standards, and testing. The GRC Analyst will lead the development and implementation of the system-wide risk management function of the GRC program to ensure information risks are identified and monitored.


In this role, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to partner with key stakeholders to develop policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines around Governance, Risk, and Compliance and conduct risk assessments as needed. The GRC Analyst will assess, evaluate, and make recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the security controls for OCS’s information and technology systems. Additionally, the GRC Analyst will lead the system-wide information security compliance program, ensuring IT activities, processes, and procedures meet defined requirements, policies, and relevant regulations.


About Your Day


  • Consult on process design, governance, and documentation requirements for IT, Information Security, or IT related projects
  • Responsible for IT procedures and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as industry frameworks and best practices.
  • Create standards and identify evidence thresholds for satisfying internal control criteria, leveraging iterative improvements to measure and expand controls effectiveness (this includes the maintenance of a compliance framework for OCS's outsourced IT services)
  • Administer and improve OCS’s IT/Information Security policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and processes
  • Ensure policies are reviewed, updated, and are in alignment with the enterprise policy framework
  • Participate in the development and oversight of required corrective action plans relating to technical compliance issues
  • Support internal and external audits of IT processes, facilitate discussions, assist with evidence gathering/sharing, progress, tracking, and remediation planning
  • Coordinate and track all Information Technology and Information Security audits including audit scope, engagement of relevant business units, updating timelines, working with the auditors throughout audits, and striving to achieve desirable outcomes
  • Provide guidance, evaluation, and advocacy on audit responses as required
  • Promote and monitor compliance with the corporate-wide security awareness program
  • Identify, log, and assist with the remediation of all IT-related risks in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management framework
  • Oversee and conduct risk assessments on various Information Technology architecture, systems, solutions, and processes
  • Assess vendors/service providers by carrying out Threats and Risk Assessments (TRAs) and conducting ongoing reviews of relevant SOC, ISO, and results of independent audits
  • Remain up-to-date and provide expertise on GRC and Information Security trends to minimize exposures and risks

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, a related field of study, or equivalent level of education and experience
  • 3+ years of progressive Information Security and/or GRC work experience
  • Having one or more of the following (or equivalent) certifications is preferred: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GRCP, CGRC, GIAC
  • Working knowledge of information security risk management frameworks and compliance practices including COBIT, CIS, ISO 27001, NIST, and related standards and framework
  • Knowledgeable in areas of governance, risk, and compliance solutions and how to maintain and improve the enterprise GRC framework
  • Working knowledge of risk management, risk assessment, controls design, and the ability to effectively deliver and present risks and recommendations
  • Experience working in government and/or regulated industries preferred

During harvest, the employee will be expected to assist the team to complete the harvest and the hours will be staggered at that time.<br />Although the employee will have standard hours, the company does require you to be available seven (7) days per week including holidays, days, nights and weekends.
