About The Role:

As a Project Manager for Operations, you will manage cross-functional projects of different size to successful on-time and in-scope completion. As a consummate professional, you’ll work with your peers to deliver on tight deadlines to meet objectives and milestones. Depending on the type of project, you’ll apply the appropriate methodology, using your deep experience in agile frameworks to de-risk all phases of the project. You’re very familiar with requirements gathering, providing proper input from all stakeholders in order to increase successful outcomes. You use your written and verbal communication skills to read out to leadership and the working team on status of projects, including potential risks.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Use project management best practices to deliver projects of various size
  • Maintain a portfolio of scheduled projects to meet the approved investment strategy for the year
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project related work items needed to see projects to fruition
  • Be the subject matter expert of all processes and workflows in CCA R/D, Nursery, Cultivation, and Manufacturing departments along with the accounting integration / impact with accounting
  • Capture project timelines, work items, and dependencies in state-of-the-art project management tools
  • Prepare project budget and manage cost throughout the project lifecycle
  • Initiate and plan projects, assuring proper resourcing to reach outcomes. Manage resources in an efficient fashion
  • Manage third-party vendors to assigned tasks, expected deliverables and deadlines
  • Use agile framework to capture, groom, and execute sprints
  • Analyze key drivers of project success and derive going-forward recommendations
  • Manage budget and the timing of projects to limit current production interruption
  • Maintain professionalism and live CCA’s core values at all times
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or inherent to the position
  • Up to 10% of domestic travel expected
  • Stay current with all laws governing the industry and engage in review of new and improved operations methods
  • Assist with review of business proposals, contracts and other matters regarding operations and production processes
Qualifications:

What You'll Need to Have

  • 5+ years as a project manager in high-tech environment with both waterfall and agile approaches· Proven, in-depth experience in ERP system delivery, including staged roll-out, conversions, integration, customizations, forms and reporting
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or business
  • Hands-on experience with agile framework and SCRUM, certified SCRUM Master preferred
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • 2+ years experience with current state project management tools such as Monday, JIRA, Asana
  • Solution oriented with a proven ability to solve problems proactively and creatively
  • Conceptional understanding of API implementations
  • Google Ventures design sprint experience a plus
  • Six-sigma green belt a plus
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to lay people
