FLPX, LLC (d/b/a Floraplex Terpenes), headquartered in Ypsilanti, Michigan, is a flavor ingredient manufacturer and distributor servicing the global cannabis, food and beverage industries. Floraplex is looking to hire a lab technician that will be working directly with our facility manager to help mix terpene and flavor formulations in a friendly, relaxed and professional atmosphere.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Annual Base Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 (depending on experience and skill set)

Start Date: Immediately Reports to: Facility Manager

** Must live in South East Michigan and be able to work at our facility in Ypsilanti on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze samples of inbound raw materials
  • Inventory and reorder raw materials
  • Mix terpene formulations and other products in a laboratory environment
  • Fill, bottle and label finished product
  • Clean and maintain an organized work space

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or order
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • General computer skills
  • Numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

Bonus Attributes:

  • Previous experience working in a lab or food preparation environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
