General Description of Position:

The Farm is seeking a Media Coordinator to manage all aspects of media related to operations, including print and digital media at both “The Farm” locations.

The Media Coordinator at The Farm is a detail oriented and well-organized individual who knows the cannabis industry, understands the necessity of properly coordinating accurate and up-to-date media and can self-motivate to deliver optimal results. The ideal candidate works well autonomously but can also play well with a team, is consistent in adhering to media management best practices and can identify and clearly communicates issues that arise in the process of maintaining accurate and up-to-date media.

Responsibilities: (70% media, 20% inventory, 10% sales)

• Monitor store online menu for accuracy daily; update online menu as needed

• Monitor in store chalk board menus for accuracy daily; update or coordinate updating as needed

• Monitor paper menus daily; update or coordinate updating as needed

• Update online hours of operation on all pertinent media sites

• Maintain online training platform; including: uploading SOPs, new content and policies

• Ensure all retail team is up-to-date with online training

• Monitor any MED or regulatory updates and can quickly understand and implement any said updates

• Work with Inventory Manager and Retail Director on ensuring that all Pop Ups are properly communicated to Team and are in conjunct with staff trainings and promotions

• Works with Inventory Manager and Retail Director to determine pop-ups and promotions

• Help identify training needs and communicate them to upper management

• Help to create training content

• Act as MOD (manager on duty) as needed

• Help process inventory shipments and stocking of the sales floor

• Ensure product is compliant insofar as packaging and labeling.

• Analyze and identify recurring inventory management issues and report them, along with solutions to the Inventory Manager.

• Perform other duties as assigned according to the needs of the business.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required, some college a plus.

• 1-2 years of cannabis industry experience.

• 3-6 months employment at The Farm or in a retail dispensary environment preferred.

• Expertise using METRC in the cannabis industry.

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.

• Must have or be able to obtain a Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge.

Essential Skills

• Thorough understanding of cannabis regulations and ability to consistently manage to those rules.

• Detail orientation and exceptional organizational skills; ability to thoroughly review and identify training needs and materials

• Excellent written/oral communication skills with the ability to present both challenges and potential solutions.

• Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver results.

• Cannabis industry/regulatory knowledge.

• Self-motivation, "can do/whatever it takes" attitude, sense of urgency for delivering results.

• Versatility, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.

• Works well under pressure with the ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines.

• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements: Role may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing for up 8 hours per day, may be required to stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach or perform repetitive motions within the course of a regular shift. Consistent interactions with team members and organizational leaders require the ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in written form; and to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. The retail environment may be both loud and crowded to ability to remain focused and productive in this environment is required. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs may be required. This role has a constant demand to operate a computer and other office equipment.
