About the Role:

The Project Manager Leads assigned projects from project initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results. This individual will be required to quickly onboard to the existing projects and come up to speed on the brand, company processes, roles & responsibilities, while developing trusting relationships with the project teams and leadership. A successful candidate will be efficient, detail oriented, and able to manage their time effectively. We’re looking for a talented and well-rounded individual to support our mission and have a big impact in this high growth industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all extraction customer requirements from idea, concept, development, and commercialization, to launch
  • Track, schedule, and work with teams to manage constraints of deliverables (cost, time, scope, quality)
  • Plan logistics and inputs leading into the production process for clients
  • Participate in client kick-off meetings and document client requirements
  • Establish client project plans and workback schedules
  • Maintain systems for documentation, ensuring that the information is accurate and current and designated to all internal & external teams
  • Structure and manage integrated, multi-track projects and/or programs associated with up to 20 simultaneous projects utilizing efficient planning, strong communication, and prioritization skills
  • Provide day-to-day project contact with key stakeholders and Operations Manager
  • Develop project reporting and communications tools and methods to keep stakeholders and leadership apprised of project status
  • Write and publish meeting notes and action reports
  • Interface with stakeholders regarding making copy and layout revisions, scheduling meeting requests, and resolving print production issues
  • Manage stakeholder and internal approval deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Previous experience in cannabis industry an asset
  • Computer literacy in working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Managing both the Civil Forfeiture Act and the Criminal Asset Management Act, the CFO generates more than $10-$20 million per year through the forfeiture and liquidation of tens of thousands of assets located around the province. More than half of the money generated from forfeitures is used for community grants for crime prevention and remediation programs, and to pay victim compensation. To achieve the office’s strategic goals, the RCMP Program Manager acts as a liaison with the RCMP. The position is an expert in police techniques and tactics and criminal law and provides advice about the CFO, its legislative mandate, and its policies to RCMP members.</p><p>The RCMP represents a significant majority of all file referrals received by the CFO. The RCMP Program Manager must work proactively to ensure there is an efficient process in place to receive, review and refer files in a timely manner.
