The Job:

As the head of the Production Department (with about 25 employees, including several assistant managers), you need to be a strong, respected leader with the willingness to exert your authority. You would be accountable for the smooth operation and production/assembly of our in-house brands, and accountable for ensuring that the employees in your department are following procedures and doing their jobs correctly.

You will need to be able to lead independently, problem solve, and discipline with minimal involvement by the owners, who are primarily focused on growth of the company's sales. Also, you would be heavily involved in hiring, retention, and turnover within your department.

MAG Industries is a wholesale distributor and manufacturer in the tobacco and cannabis industries. We supply products to smoke shops, head shops, and convenience stores in dozens of states in the eastern U.S.

We sell over 5,000 different products, including some brands that we produce in house. The Production Manager would be the lead manager of the assembly/manufacturing of MAG's in-house brands. You would report directly to the President, and also work closely with the Shipping Manager and Receiving Manager as needed.
