Job Description

Cresco Labs Corporate is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our growing Retail Merchandising team. Within this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data in support of Sunnyside's retail initiatives, including analysis of buyer behavior, inventory management, category growth, and competitive analysis. The role also requires the development of intuitive business intelligence tools to support an objective view of our retail performance and competitive position. A successful applicant must possess high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. This role reports into the Vice President, Head of Retail Merchandising, and interfaces with the company's senior retail leaders.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently summarize retail sales data and clearly communicate essential findings to senior leadership

• Develop and lead execution on consumer insights KPIs (e.g., brand and category loyalty, market fragmentation, promotional tracking, and shopper behavior)

• Ability to analyze, aggregate, and mine data, and develop actionable insights that go beyond standard business reporting

• Use creative problem-solving skills to support ambiguous business problems, and develop models in which data is either incomplete or evolving

• Establish causal relationships between consumer data points and retail sales performance

• Create dollar & unit forecasts for retail price promotions, then evaluate return on investment (ROI) and make recommendations for future events

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in consulting, data science, quantitative marketing, finance, or a related field

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Operations (or similar)

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel knowledge.

• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL) and business intelligence tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI)

• Ability to understand business operations, processes, and translate data into business insights that "tell a story" or aid decision-making

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and communicate data and information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience with sales data analytics strongly preferred

• Effective time management and prioritization skills.

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job.</p><p>• Leadership Responsibilities</p><p>• Supervises Biomass Technicians; assigns work, tracks attendance, ensures quality control, and delegates daily and weekly tasks</p><p>• Works with Extraction Lead to ensure runs are processed according to schedule.</p><p>• Monitors and provides written reports to management on all incoming biomass.</p><p>• Provides a monthly report on biomass received.</p><p>• Communicates with the Management about biomass quality, preparation, or any deviations from normal operating procedures based upon biomass quality.</p><p>• Monitors inventory of consumables and orders as necessary.</p><p>• Performs continuous safety checks on equipment and notifies management of maintenance needs.</p><p>• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment at regular intervals.</p><p>• Delegates task fairly and effectively.</p><p>• Emphasizes safety in all laboratory and biomass activities and responsible for employee safety and adherence to safety measures, process, and procedures.</p><p>• Supervises, trains, tasks, and motivates crew members and leads the team.</p><p>• Receives and communicates instructions, job assignments and updates verbally and non-verbally from Laboratory Director, fellow technicians, instructive lists, SOP, email, and other department electronic communication.</p><p>• Assists with Research and Development projects as assigned. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</p><p>• Production</p><p>• Ensures material is packed, organized, and ready for extraction 1 day ahead of extraction schedule</p><p>• Assists in packing biomass, post processing activities, and the setup, breakdown, and regular operation of the extraction room(s) as needed.</p><p>• Ensures material condition is maintained.</p><p>• Works with harvest dept. to ensure material intakes are scheduled and quality standards are being met.</p><p>• Ensures all raw material is organized, labeled, and accounted for per SOP.</p><p>• Ensures material intakes are completed on schedule.</p><p>• Traceability and Data Tracking</p><p>• Preforms and oversees all traceability conversions and transfers as it relates to the biomass dept.</p><p>• Preforms a monthly audit of the traceability system and provides a written report to management.</p><p>• Logs material information in a designated tracker.</p><p>Job Qualifications</p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.
