The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations and profitability of the establishment according to set goals and business objectives. Daily operations include staff management, customer satisfaction, neat product presentation, inventory management, and carrying out seasonal changes and promotional activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.
  • Make sure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
  • Ensure that all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met.
  • Maintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management.
  • Take inventory as scheduled and provide inventory reports.
  • Increase sales, expand markets and promote business to meet given goals within provided guidelines.
  • Verify invoices against packaging slips and track all expenditures.
  • Make sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and that items are priced correctly.
  • Make sound business decisions when buying large quantities with volume-based discounts.
  • Provide management with required sales, staff, and other assigned productivity reports.
  • Hold staff accountable for cash box deficits.
  • Balance sales, print and record receipts as well as track revenue daily.
  • Make bank deposits daily and reconcile bank statements.
  • Contribute, coordinate and execute the process of ordering and receiving cannabis and accessories
  • Supervise all staff in the establishment and coordinate work to ensure productive operations at all hours.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have CannaSell Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
  • Basic office administration skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
  • Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Politically and culturally sensitive.
  • Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement PR and advertising campaigns.
  • A professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills.

This role is responsible for ensuring each department meet their monthly/quarterly/yearly production goals. The Director of Production ensures timely delivery of goods to the market and ensures the quality standards of the company are maintained at every level of production. Due to the hands-on nature of cannabis production, the Director of Production must be able to lead by example. This role works closely with the Head of Cultivation, Head of Inventory &amp; Logistics, Director of Wholesale, Finance and reports directly to the VP, Operations &amp; Production.</p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITES:</b></p><p><b>Departmental Oversight:</b></p><p>Extractions, MIP’s, Packaging, Testing &amp; Lab Relations, Product Development</p><p>• Maintains clear and consistent communication with department heads</p><p>• Bridges gaps in departmental process and issues directives with clear goals for success</p><p>• Measures success and areas of improvement and shares results with department heads on a regular basis</p><p>• Ensures all staffing goals are met in each department and monitors any potential retention risks in real time</p><p>• Understands and monitors expected yields and outputs by department</p><p>• Works directly with the Head of Cultivation and Head Grower to ensure all company SOP’s are being followed and KPI’s are met on a consistent basis</p><p>Production Planning and Product Development</p><p>• Works with Director of Wholesale &amp; along with ensuring all safety protocols are being enforced</p><p>• Ensures all SOP’s are updated and maintained by department</p><p>• Works with compliance team to state current on all CCC regulations pertaining to production</p><p>• Trains and maintains compliance standards with METRC by department</p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p>• Preferred - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the cannabis industry with a focus on production planning, product development and personnel management or equivalent experience in a Production environment.</p><p>• Proven track record of operating in a highly regulated industry; specific understanding of PA compliance regulations.</p><p>• Preferred proficiency in the following technical areas: METRC, Leaf Logics, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets, Project Management software.</p><p>• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or commensurate experience in the cannabis industry.</p><p>• Must be 21 years of age or older as required by the PA Cannabis Commission.</p><p>• Able to pass all background checks as mandated by PA Cannabis Commission.</p><p>• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.</p><p><b>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</b></p><p>• Prior Cannabis Industry Experience preferred.</p><p>• Experience operating in or managing a high-volume MIPs Program, Extractions Lab &amp; We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager with strong operations, employee management, and production experience. The Operations Manager will create an environment of team collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence to ensure the optimization of facility upkeep &amp; packaging, and distribution. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, goal-driven, and business-oriented with strong knowledge of the entire cannabis seed to sale cycle.</p><p>Location: Elk Grove, IL</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p>• Hire and manage employees in cultivation, processing, warehousing, packaging, facilities management, and distribution.</p><p>• Ensure products are produced in a safe environment for our employees while adhering to all government regulations.</p><p>• Responsible for product safety.</p><p>• Develop and enforce proper product and work performance to include tracking, movement, security, and compliance with State and Federal regulations.</p><p>• Work closely with EVP to implement best practices, drive continuous improvement and ensure SOPs are followed in daily processes.</p><p>• General upkeep of building &amp; infrastructure improvements.
