The Post Production/ Harvest Manager will be responsible for directing all teams for harvest, trim, packaging and extraction activities to ensure that True Harvest delivers the highest quality products while maintaining the most efficient product cost structure. Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Exceptional knowledge of cannabis industry, quality product and having strong functional knowledge and experience in each post cultivation activity.
  • Outstanding people/managerial skills to lead teams in all post cultivation activities, including harvest/cure, trim, packaging and extraction.
  • Responsible for working closely with CEO, CFO, Operations Manager, Cultivation Manager, Sales Director, Compliance Officer and Human Resources.
  • Ensure operational priorities, processes and procedures are communicated and understood by all teams.
  • Strong knowledge of seed to sale tracking systems and effective batching processes.
  • Weekly reporting and tracking for accountability.
  • Manage custody of production to ensure allocation of product to each department.
  • Maintain compliance with any and all legal or company policies or regulations.
  • Exceptional people management skills and building strong motivated teams.
  • Conduct and manage internal testing procedures and tracking
  • Involvement in recruiting functions related to post production activities including candidate review and in person interviews.
  • Manage moisture testing and ensure harvest/cure activities are carried out effectively and timely to ensure the best quality products are maintained. Solid understanding of environmental controls for maintaining harvest/cure conditions for best resulting product.
  • Responsible for motivating trim lead to ensure quality and quantity of product and remain on schedule for trimming activities. Manage headcount to ensure proper staffing and minimize down time. Implement strong quality control mechanisms carried out by teams.
  • Review and manage any additional packaging areas when needed. Work with Packaging lead to ensure top quality products generated with best overall presentation.
  • Responsible for working directly with Sales to ensure finished products are top quality and produced when needed for sales. Able to balance sales needs with production schedule.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality and quantity of finished product of extraction products.
  • Provide a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
  • Ensure proper compliance across teams and ensure we meet all state and federal requirements.
