Reports to: Facility Manager or Processing SupervisorPosition Overview:Processing Technicians are responsible for all aspects of plant processing from crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team. These responsibilities include trimming, assembling completed product materials into various containers and packages as well as ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and acts with a professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and processing equipment. duties as assigned.</li></ul><br /><p></p><p><b>Experience and Qualifications</b></p><br /><p></p><ul><li>Post-secondary degree with a focus in HR required.</li><li>Candidates who have obtained or are working towards their CHRP through the HRPA preferred.</li><li>Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in HR required.</li><li>Experience supporting a mid-sized company operating in multiple Canadian provinces is an asset.</li><li>Experience working in HR for a retail company is an asset.</li><li>Requires a strong understanding of employment legislation in Ontario and a basic understanding of the AGCO regulatory requirements in the liquor/cannabis industry.</li><li>Must be able to identify the implications of recommendations/decisions in our Ontario locations, as well as the company as a whole, in order to understand when further review/approval is required to keep leaders apprised and in order to follow our internal review standards for alignment and consistency nationally.</li><li>Must excel in accurately analyzing and synthesizing data into practical inferences, providing well-planned and comprehensive recommendations.</li><li>Must be highly accountable and able to develop and oversee project plans to move them forward.</li><li>Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, have a good understanding of HRIS, training, and payroll systems.</li><li>Must be able to pass a basic criminal record check.</li><li>May be required to obtain CannSell certification.</li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to/from work and ability to travel to
