Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington, is hiring a Payroll Administrator for their Spokane Valley Location; the schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm. This is a Full-Time position in a high-volume, fast paced, production driven environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, good with direction and follow through, will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to multi-task to stay on track. Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support that involves managing office records and maintaining employee data. This position is also responsible for processing payroll and performing minor accounting functions. Supports and adheres to company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs daily bookkeeping, data entry duties, and updates employee records.

• Processes employee time cards, prepares the payroll, runs reports, and provides employees and managers with support in using the payroll system.

• Works with HR to maintain personnel files including assisting HR with setup of new hires and processing employee terminations.

• Prepares employee benefit paperwork and enters elections into the payroll system.

• Reconciles and pays bills.

• Counts and reconciles the deposit and makes bank deposits as necessary.

• Performs some accounting functions such as journal entries, cash reimbursements, and completion of loan packets and works closely with the company accountant.

• Monitors supply levels and purchases more when needed.

• Creates expense reports.

• Orders and purchases weekly lunches, ensures accuracy when it arrives, and assists with food setup as needed.

• Oversees and help direct work of Office Assistants.

• Performs clerical tasks including compiling, editing and creating SOP's.

• Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.

• Runs errands and performs tasks assigned by ownership.

• Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.

• Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

• Must be 21 years old or older.

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

• High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Two (2) years' experience in an office/administrative type of position.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel and Google web-based software, including Docs and Sheets.

• Experience with payroll systems, including time keeping systems preferred.

• Highly organized, detailed oriented with the ability to multitask.

Physical Abilities: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

• Regularly sit for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information, pull/push, carry up to 25 pounds, and grasp.

• Frequently stand, walk, reach, taste, or smell.

• Occasionally climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; carry up to 50 pounds.
