California’s leading cannabis company is seeking a dynamic and energetic Payroll Clerk to support our Accounting team at our downtown, Los Angeles corporate headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help oversee time edits and data entry.
  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Other duties assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Team player with a positive attitude that is willing and eager to learn.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software (preferred).
  • Prior experience with "Paychex"(preferred).

KEY ATTRIBUTES NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS

  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership.
  • 2 years of payroll processing experience (preferred).
  • Have a strong desire to grow professionally and personally.
  • Must be flexible - this role will be ever-changing.
