• *PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE**

Brightroot is seeking to employ a Full-Time Patient Service Representative at The Mint Dispensary's Tempe and Bell locations.

Brightroot is a professional management services provider currently hiring unique talent for an Arizona Licensed Non-Profit Dispensary that specializes in serving the Medical Cannabis community. Superior caliber patient service is a priority Brightroot standard, and providing patients with safe access to clean, high-quality products is of top company concern. The work environment is fast-paced and non-traditional.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic, value teamwork, have professional integrity, a strong sense of personal accountability, and be career-orientated.

• *POSITION DESCRIPTION:** Patient Service Representative provides patients with education and information about medical cannabis and its uses while providing amazing customer service. At times a patient service representative will be asked to cross train and assist in other departments such as, administration and packaging. We want to maintain a fun, welcoming, and professional environment for patients and coworkers.

• *PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Check-in, verify the status and report patient allotment on AZDHS system.

- Provides patients with education and information about medical cannabis and its uses.

- Assists patients with product selection in an efficient and timely manner.

- Processes patient orders and payments utilizing POS software.

- Operate, maintain and close cash till and deposit end of daily earnings.

- Assists management staff with daily operational needs. (This includes assisting in other departments when needed)

- Maintain a clean and professional environment for patients.

• *QUALIFICATIONS:**

- Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age; pursuant to A.R.S. §36-2801.10

- Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01

- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01 and A.R.S. §36-2801.10

- Valid Arizona Drivers License

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

• *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:**

- Knowledge of the uses of medicinal cannabis and different methods of medicating.

- Knowledge of cannabis brands and products available on the Arizona market.

- General knowledge of cannabis product regulations including dispensing procedures and patient transaction limits.

- Demonstrate the ability to operate Point of Sale and other computer systems while assisting patients.

- Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Ability to work in a faced paced environment.

We provide live support daily to patients and practitioners.</p><p>This role will help us provide increased support to our Veteran patients only.</p><p><b>Role Description:</b></p><p>This role will provide an assessment for Canadian Veteran patients seeking additional coverage from Veterans Affairs Canada for their medical cannabis treatment. Patients will be scheduled for a special assessment through our telehealth platform. The psychiatrist will review with the patient their medical history, cannabis treatment goals, etc., once the evaluation is complete a report will be generated for VAC outlining the patients need relative to their symptoms.
