THE OPPORTUNITY

Logistics Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment and enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Responsibilities for Logistics Analyst includes but are not limited to:

• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning)

• Secure quotes and recommend carriers for inbound and outbound operations.

• Prepare management reports on carrier freight volumes and performance.

• Establish kitting procedures for daily packaging offsite runs.

• Supporting implementation of an ERP system.

• Oversee inventory procedures.

• Develop requirements and standards (e.g., packaging, procurement, delivery)

• Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules.

• Help foster trusting relationships with vendors and team members.

• Evaluate vendor operations (e.g., freight forwarders) according to quality standards.

• Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance

• Managing wholesale deliveries

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in computer databases, statistic applications and logistics programs

• 2-5 years of experience in the logistics, warehousing, procurement, or supply chain industries.

• Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases, and ERP systems

• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory management, warehouse management, procurement, supply forecasting)

• Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

• Deep-dive and root cause deviations in warehouse and logistic process on just-in-time fulfillment.

• Collaborate with order management, logistics operations, and product planning operations.

• Review ship dates and past due orders with relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare and report plant inventories, consumption rates, and fulfillment rates.

• Troubleshoot and help resolve order issues.

• Strong attention to detail

• Great interpersonal skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly perform desk-based computer tasks

• Must be able to drive 20% to 30% of the time.

• Able to lift up to 50 lb.

• Frequently sitting and standing

• An environment with minimal noise levels
