Cannabis Harvester and Trimmer

Commercial indoor cannabis grow is looking for a professional, reliable team player to join it’s Harvest and Trim department. The ideal candidate will have experience harvesting wet whole plants and manicuring dry cannabis buds. Previous garden experience is a plus but not required. We offer competitive pay and have a bonus system in place for all trimmers based on pounds trimmed and pre-roll production.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Trimmers are primarily responsible for the efficient processing of marijuana flower
  • Individuals are expected to produce 2 to 4+ pounds of trimmed flower per 8 hour shift.
  • Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity
  • Process cannabis with quality and efficiency, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Work with Grow department to execute harvests including post harvest production.
  • Assist the Grow department with the following tasks: transplanting, cloning, pruning, watering.
  • Competently follow directions from supervisor(s).
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks to support overall company needs including packaging and cannabis joint production.
  • General facility cleaning
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment that adheres to the company’s safety program to ensure quality of product is being met.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and kneel for long periods of time.

Qualifications

  • Metric Experience a plus but not required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work well with others, as well as independently
  • Desire to learn
  • Must be able to follow basic instructions
  • Able to take constructive criticism from managers to maintain quality standards and production goals
  • Must show up on time for work every day ready to work
  • Good verbal communication
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Requirements

  • Must have valid MED badge
  • Must possess basic knowledge of cannabis weights, industry products, strain classifications, genetics, and compliance
  • Genuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Aurora, CO 80010: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
