Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Eastern Facilities Asset Manager, The Technical Service Supervisor is responsible for the management of Facility Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Inventory & Asset coordinator and day to day operations of properties assigned in accordance with the standards and procedures. The ability to multi-task, identify priorities, develop and manage client relationships are key to the success of the role.  Ideal candidate must display strong team leadership skills, an understanding of Facility Management, be highly organized and possess the ability to confidently make effective, high quality decisions.

• Identification of procedural/process gaps with the proven ability to implement process improvements, drive efficiency and track measurable success.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership direction in following Integrated Facilities Management aligned strategies in advancing the goals of the organization and exceeding client satisfaction.

• Develop and manage policies and procedures related to service providers, work order management and financial obligation.

• Partner with the Facility Management team to establish, maintain and update facilities standards as needed.

• Experience with or ability to learn CMMS work order system and general invoicing and payment processes.

• Monitor and manage external contractor work product to ensure compliance of agreements.

• Collect, analyze and report out a variety data and synthesize into usable information.

• Participate in and/or lead a variety of meetings, committees, task forces, and/or other related groups designed to support facility management’s execution of client operations.

• Liaison with other departments within the organization providing information on available resources, projects, and services.

• Oversees training and support aimed at expanding the capabilities of the team and driving efficient operations.

• Coordinate resources for new or existing activities; structure team and services accordingly.

• Support continual expansion of Centralized Facilities Management operations by leveraging experience, knowledge and systems throughout supporting overall program development.

• Collaborates with Procurement and Supply Chain Administration teams to source and qualify vendors, source and procure goods and services.

• Collaborates with stakeholders and contributes to efficiency gains through activities including but not limited to identifying and implementing best practices; reviewing, refining and/or developing, implementing processes, technologies and sustainable practices, and leveraging self-perform wherever possible.  Implements related enhancements.

Inventory Management

• Analyze needs and recommend, parts, supplies and equipment.

• Analyze trends in equipment, materials and methods and recommend changes when these would benefit the company.

• Prepare the requisition of supplies and materials in advance.

• Reporting and Special Projects

• Consult with Operations Management for specific projects and work orders and follow up on special project work.

• Complete cost control reports and supplies\parts cost reports.

• Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports for Operations Management of Facilities Management Services.

Job Requirements:

• High school completion

• 5 years or more of supervisory experience.

• Demonstrate team leadership experience.

• Solid interpersonal skills with ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.

Salary

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Security Clearance

Security Clearance may be requested for this position.

Working Hours

Salaried Position - Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

This position will require after hours or extended hours based on activity, overtime and respond to call-out.

Physical Requirements
