Location:

Remote, can work from anywhere in Canada. Our Business Intelligence and Analytics team integrates data and develops data warehouse, provides reporting, advanced analytics and data science services across the organization to generate insights, support data driven decision making and foster innovation. The successful candidate will possess very strong experience in data strategies and have proven ability to lead data engineers and business intelligence developers.

You are result oriented and pay attention to details.

You will lead the team to identify the business needs and requirements, assemble data sets through efficient data processing pipelines that balance speed and reliability.

You will be accountable for the cloud base enterprise data warehouse maintenance and modernization through your advanced knowledge of data orchestration, ingestion and reporting. We are looking for a highly effective team leader who keeps the team focused and motivated to deliver on time. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure business needs are addressed. Provide day to day team management and support talent growth. Lead the data engineering team to design, build, test and deploy end-to-end, best in class data solutions to support enterprise reporting and analytics. Collaborate closely with Data Science, Project Delivery, Architecture, ERP teams and provide technical oversight for backend data processes to ensure successful data solution deliveries with scalability.

Advance data processing strategies using Microsoft Azure BI Platform. Lead the team to maintain and enhance enterprise data warehouse including data cleansing, transformation, modeling as well as automated deployment processes. Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while exhibiting professionalism to ensure an excellent stakeholder experience. JOB

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 8 years’ experience in business intelligence. At least 3 years manager or team leader experience. Deep understanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure for data integration and processing such as Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Functions, Data Factory and Databricks. Hands-on project experience with Microsoft Azure data ingestion. Experience in managing and deploying code to cloud services, including Azure DevOps experience.

Proficiency in Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data between data systems and data warehouse. Proficiency in SQL programming to write complex queries. Solid knowledge in scripting and programming using Python, C#. Working knowledge of Visual Studio. Familiarity of ERP and CRM systems strongly preferred. Knowledge in statistics and data mining is an asset. Strong Agile project execution experience with proven ability to prioritize and manage time.

Demonstrated success with large BI projects involving stakeholders across the business areas. Demonstrated ability managing deadlines, workload and multitasking. You should be comfortable being in a hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing and want to help shape the way Green Thumb views the Talent Operations function.</p><h2><b>Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>Oversee all talent acquisition vendor agreements, technology, change management, process improvement working closely with TA leadership</li><li>Drive, lead and support all aspects of recruitment technology projects from implementations, integrations, and optimizations</li><li>Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for technology updates and process changes, including coordination of resources involved</li><li>Partner with recruitment team to understand recruitment technology pain points and drive solutions to optimize</li><li>Partner with all onboarding parties (people team, payroll, technology, accounting) to build new hire workflow to streamline onboarding for new hires</li><li>Build documentation and training for recruitment technology including applicant tracking system including scheduling, sourcing, job creation, reporting, CRM usage, sourcing, offer creation, etc.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships in partnership with TA leadership to ensure ongoing education and optimization of tools drives ROI</li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge of project management tools and resources</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and data integrity of all employee records</li></ul><h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelors Degree required; 5+ years experience in project management, system integrations or human resources operations role ideally in growth environment supporting talent acquisition preferred</li><li>Strong project management skills with a background in developing and executing new initiatives and change management with speed, accuracy, and efficiency</li><li>Highly analytical thinker with current knowledge of how to assess data, extract insights, and tell the story of various technology systems using Microsoft Excel and Tableau</li><li>Advanced level understanding of data analytics tools – Excel and Tableau required;</li><li>Advanced level understanding of system integrations with proven experience launching new technology with various stakeholders and partnering closely with technology</li><li>Must have a background with various technology platforms with the ability to configure and troubleshoot as a super admin for ATS, CRM, and ancillary systems</li><li>Proven change management background with ability to understand how technology challenges and process challenges impact the business and efficiently come up with successful solutions to meet (and exceed) stakeholder needs</li><li>Proven experience setting and meeting deadlines and commitments, experience facilitating RFPs, implementing new technology including technical integrations using APIs and webhooks</li><li>Strong background in influencing behaviors with a track record of working effectively and building buy-in with cross-functional leaders and peers</li><li>Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense, and resourcefulness</li><li>Possesses a high level of critical thinking</li><li>Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information</li><li>Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb</li><li>Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.</li></ul><h2><b>Additional Requirements</b></h2><ul><li>Must pass any and all required background checks</li><li>Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry</li></ul></div></div>","company":{"companyType":"Public/Established","name":"Green Thumb Industries","logoUrl":"/logos/green-thumb-industries-gti-251a0a04f4d3572804c1830639474e95.png"},"location":{"country":"United States","address":"Chicago, IL","city":"Chicago","stateProvince":"IL"},"frontendLink":"/job-posting/green-thumb-industries/manager-talent-operations/11df704b82d0a11001d6233afbca7dd8","title":"Manager, Talent Operations","hash":"11df704b82d0a11001d6233afbca7dd8","postingUrl":"https://www.indeed.com/job/manager-talent-operations-ddc9f6809e174403"}]
